Editor suggestion: Ending text

It would be nice to set ending text to custom maps (just like opening text).

I'm planning a storyline for series of custom maps inspired be the original story mode, but I find it very limiting for story telling to use opening text and artifacts only. At least my final map will need some epilogue.

Put an artifact under each totem? Not perfect, but closer at least
I know my spelling is shaky, have fun! Shake along with it :P

I would like this as well. On certain maps (i.e. with totems in every corner) you just don't know which totem will be reached last.

It would also ensure the text is only displayed when the map has been finished successfully.

Not even death can stop the truly determined.

I told them, "I want to add to the world."
They said, "Then learn how to use the editor."
I asked, "What is the editor?"
They said, "Life."

Now I think about it, there should be an End_Success_Text and an End_Fail_Text.

The latter would allow the map maker to give the player some hints that you didn't want to give away earlier on, which might encourage him/her to try again.

How can this suggestion get even better?

Text when all Survival Pods are rescued. Text displayed at X time.

Otherwise, I dunno.

How can this suggestion get even better?

Triggers which support a text "action" text dialog:

example:

condition:
Current user achieves victory
action:
Display dialog: "Great Win"

condition:
Current user suffers defeat
action:
Display dialog: "You lost, and the creeper took over"

Trust me, you will regret not reading it.

Yeah, I've read that topic before and it would be very nice to have. Really nice actually; it would greatly improve map making (probably more than anything else).

However a simple ending text (or two, for success and failure) would be a lot easier to implement (as the 'trigger' is already in place). Even if the next version only contains a few minor fixes and improvements this could be included, while the trigger system might be something that would take more time and probably doesn't have the highest priority.

If I had to choose between my idea and just the success/failer text, I'd go for the 2nd one since it would most likely be quicker to add, though I'd still want my idea added later, (if possible).
