Wow, seems like the unknown guy has an impossible map for you but because you can see the difficulty is only medium you can already guess you'll finally be saved.
But is this the end of this serie?

Two scores says you are mistaken...

Thanatos

Poorly designed and lacking play testing from trying it.  Has, unfortunately, many of the signs of rookie map making in it.

For the author:  Use spores to add challenge to your map, not to add the ONLY risk.  Also, did you play-test your map?  I'm thinking not.  It's rather bad, and the timing on spores (as mentioned, poorly done anyway) is horrible.  Making it so you can't get the SAM tech without soaking up several rounds of spores first is just lame.  You need to build, eat spore, re-build, repeat.  Sorry, I hate to give negative feedback but only a masochist would find this a good map.  >:(

Well, almost all my previous maps had creeper as only enemy, so now I thought what about spores as a special enemy.

And your insults on the gameplay are probably made because you can't finish it (I don't see your score), so don't blame me blame yourself.

And BTW, it's possible to get the SAM tech in less than three minutes, you just have to think instead of giving up and blaming the map editor that he didn't tested it (I even posted a score).

And if you would have atleast tried to play it untill you get the SAM tech, you would have seen there is creeper that threatens you.

God I hate all those people just saying a map is bad because they can't finish it.

Try more of his maps to find out he's actually a very good and original map maker. And if you don't like a map (which is your good right), you should maybe use some other words to make this clear. Everybody is here for fun and so are the people that have spent their time to make you a map. A nice challenge for one, an impossible mission for others....

Oh, and this one? ;) Thanatos, don't try that map! :D

Yeah, that happens a lot. Luckily the players that can finish it will not be scared off by these kind of comments. They will even try harder. Keep up the good work!

Squaz, being one of the top players, probably plays at a higher level than most players. As such his "medium" is probably really "hard" or even "expert-only."

Your criticism is unfounded though, since the author posted a score to prove tht the map can be beat and indeed, to date one other player has done so.

I understand that there are many maps where you (or I ) cannot win and that is as annoying and frustrating as heck, but still, you should not criticize the author for not having played his map if he has indeed posted a score.  I remember struggling with some maps, then leaving them and coming back later with a new and different tactic to beat them, even after I have thought the map was unbeatable - Gump being the first one and in fact how I came to the forums.

I hope that you will retract some of your personal attack on the author and perhaps rethink your strategy and try again. Or, as I do with many maps, accept that I can't beat them and walk away or ask for some assistance in finding the correct strategy.

If you're finding maps like this, my other map that UKees talked about or Desert Rain from Daos (Those maps all have the concept of you having to get somewhere while spores are attacking and you haven't got any SAMs), you must always build two rows of collectors and make sure every collector is protected with a blaster. And first build up some initial power with reactors (that will make sure the spores don't target you).

Don't like, sorry but some of your maps are not "clever".
You have to use lots of tricks in this map:

First Move odin to get faster access to sam or you get annoyed very fast. then you have to destroy the mortars...there is a way to do it... then it's ok. Emitter letf and right to the totems are a gimmick, very funny building up everything and then they explode and you can restart again...
