I haven't been on knuckle cracker in months, so i am out of date, but do you have to be connected to the internet to play the map of the day? probably a stupid question, but i couldn't find it anywhere else. ???

Nope, you only need a connection to submit your score. And the latest patch of course.... ;)

A nice touch is that  you can now also submit your scores at a later stage, when you are connected to the Internet. Simply click on the "resubmit score" button in them map page.
