To cquante:
Thank you so much for your compliments. I would love to show you how I did it, but I just cant give away player secrets.. I still don't know them all. You just have to keep playing and observe the way good mapmakers set up everything , sometimes things may look out of place, but it might be a hint. Regardless.. as long as you have fun, finish the maps as you like. Yay you.. indeed.

To SECRET CRUSH:
:D Thank you

UpperKEES

As quick and dirty as I possibly could. That's my kind of thing I guess.... :P

Nice map! Loved the flowers (and even more the power ;)).

Wow.. this is one of those moments when I say "how the hell?".. I recall that I tried my best at the time to get that score and you massacred it.
Good job.

Build relays (all through the middle and 2 diverting at the end). Build 13 blasters: 2 stay behind, 3 to the top, 3 to the bottom and 5 to the middle. Build speed nodes while they're flying. Build 3 collectors and charge totems.

Some day you should reconsider that "no video" thing of yours. I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to learn from a master like you.

UpperKEES

With the above explanation everybody should be able to do it, maybe with 2-3 tries (never quit after 1 attempt). If I make a video anybody can copy exactly what I do; instead I'd better supply a macro file with all mouse clicks recorded, so you only have to type your name to get the same score submitted.... ;)

Besides that I read somewhere that Miss Melissa doesn't give away all her secrets, so why should I? :P

Hahahaha, that's right.. Haven't you ever noticed that gaining something for nothing in a game cheapens your play and makes it less worthwhile?

UpperKEES

Yeah, I rather find the solution myself. That's the reason I play anyway, to get challenged and/or puzzled.

Clearly you don't *have* to.  OTOH, I believe that free sharing leads to improvements all around. It is like research. If you and MM shared what you have figured out, each may learn from the other. If you shared more widely, you improve the entire knowledge pool. And of course your winning score will be recorded first to accord you the honor of whatever it is that you know better.

As you can see, I have tried a few times. There are complications, I can't seem to do it as fast as you do. And of course, I can't build 13 blasters concurrently, so issues of timing are complex.

But hey, it is clearly your privilege and right NOT to share what you have figured out. Interestingly enough, I went to a gem show this past weekend. One person there had some special artificial gems, created by a Japanese scientist in the 1980s with a special process. This scientist choose not to share his process, and when he died, the process died with him. Today the pieces that he created are all collectors' pieces that steadily increase in value.

Okay, then I'll choose to share all with Miss Melissa. I suggest we meet every Friday and discuss the latest tricks and tactics during a nice dinner in town. ;D

Or, I could write them all down and store in a safe place. When I die I'll leave that book to Miss Melissa, so these now very valuable idea's can be sold. This way she can make some money out of CW without being a pro. ;)

So Karsten, this may very well be the last thing I share with you: when I start a map I always check how much energy the pre-build reactors/collectors will supply (compensate for 20% faster building when applicable!). If I remember well it was something around 8 units per second for this map. Always start with the longest supply line, so in this case the relay through the middle. Other stuff I only build on the blocks already connected to Odin City, starting with 2 blasters on the furthest positions possible to cap the two emitters on the top & bottom right (need to protect the flowers). So, now we have 5 more units per second to spend: build 5 blasters on the blocks in front of you. The second relay will be build partly during the first blasters. The next round you build one blaster less, as you'll need one additional relay after the third and because you have 2 blasters firing occasionally. Even before the last relays are being built you send 3 blasters in between the top totem and emitter (back to back, so they protect each other) and do the same for the bottom totem. You can send the 5 blasters to the middle a little later, as they don't have to fly that far and only need to rescue a pod instead of charge a totem. Once the blasters touch the ground, you try to build a collector between them and the pod/totem. While the blasters are in flight you can build some additional speed nodes, but not too many as you like to have some energy in store for the blasters to fire and the collectors to be built. (Hmmm, I guess making a video is faster.... :P)

some more tweakin'  :D, you don't need drones or mortars... think of emitters in the back...  8)
