E-mail & notifications

1. In my profile on this forum I've selected to hide my e-mail address for others, but it shows up when I click my nick, while it doesn't for other members. Is this correct?

2. I've selected to send notifications when I post in a topic or open one. Still I don't receive them and my profile says I'm not subscribed to any topic. How come? I also don't see the 'notification'-button I should use to subscribe to a topic....

- You can see your own email, but others can't.

- I don't have email notifications turned on for the forums since I don't host my own mail server (it's a royal pain).  So I can only send so many outbound messages per day.  Hence, not allowing email based subscriptions.

BTW: Do I get an e-mail notification when I receive a PM on this forum? (I have that option selected.) I've asked someone a question about his custom map....

Hmm i have recevied email when i got an PM ,
maybe its turn off or not working atm .
To send an PM you have to click the name in the forum ,
and the you should find the option for sending a PM .
