Yep, and its got a custom "build cannon then self destruct" unit.

Hmmm... what about a "Play as Sleeper" map type? It would be totally unnecessary and far too complicated but it would be just fun for the story of the game.

That would be great but difficult to provide balanced opposition for (e.g. targeted node landing in a fledgling base, or on a reactor field.)

It would be hard to make, but fun to play. The power supply and void-crossing differences would work in interesting ways.

You could restrict where the sleeper lands and where it can go.

This idea was mentioned a few times at the original sleeper posts. Telanir said if he sees a bunch of people wanting the idea he might think about doing it. Buuuuutttt, since he hasn't posted in a while i don't think it will happen.

Fair enough. The Sleeper is a game-mode all by itself, and a consistent one at that. Once there are no more units to make creep versions of, there will be nothing much new.
