Um, what?  I thought I had it won, I'd destroyed all the portals and was making Beams to mop up the Nexus's, when suddenly

I exploded.  Like, everything exploded.  Including the freaking rocks and everything, it all exploded.  And then I got the standard "ship destroyed" loss screen.

When you kill a nexus, everything in its range (it's a circle, if the nexus is in the middle column of the map, 3 columns will be unaffected) will blow up. Make sure your LS isn't in range of the nexus when you kill it.

Way 1 (quick): Collecting crystals and at the same time move LS to the right up part of the map (nulify Drone gate).
Build several blasters to protect LS and also build several blasters in the left down corner of the map, build DB and kill
1 Nexus. Win.

Way 2 (not quick): The same way, only try to nulify step by step all drones and gates and then kill 1 Nexus and win.
This second way longer, but You can struggle with drones and enjoy battle. 
1560 maps in CW2, CW3 and PFE till now

on this map i think it was the top right corner was safe? can't remember exactly but pretty sure it was top right!  8)

I did it this way the first time thinking I should clear up before building a dark beam and going in for the kill. Its a really good fight, quite exhausting. I thoroughly recommend having a go.

I see.  I've only dealt with the nexus in campaign mode, I didn't realize they did that.  Thanks all.
