Redo corrected complaints of the map to see if it is liked better. Anti Creeper rains on the surface that could be usefull!

I'm afraid this is probably what "design by acclaim" looks like. Fighting "up" has become a non-issue. Now it is merely a race for the gems and to get as much anti-creeper pouring down as possible.

For all it's faults (mainly the delays in digging 10-terrain and removing the ore obstacles) I liked the older version better. But yes, those who revel in low-challenge maps with tons of creeper that pose no real hazard might prefer this version.

I agree. The original had digging three ways at once which kept the concentration up, a little bit of magic to get the mirror fast and a dark beam to clear up quickly. This map takes out all the challange and has become a long dig followed by a long slog.

An interesting experiment in consensus design.

personally i prefer this version. neither was really a challenge as such, but at least with this version it's possible to lose ground and have to recover (although the only real threat to the LS is the phantoms, and they aren't much of one). with the dbeam on the previous version i never had that threat.
i also agree that the helping ac is now a little too helpful.
but still i had to use some caution to kill off the pool at the bottom since i had no Dbeam.
still worth the effort and time though.
thanks for the map, and make more!

When I fought my way up, i just built a rift gate, and some makers set to vac, presto, never ending ac, set more makers in the slot open to the bottom with a few guns and mortars, get up and eat dinner, come back, null the whole mess.  rather enjoyed both versions...
Wait until you see this --- oh wait....nevermind
