ooooOOo, now THIS is a fine map! Straight-up, solid "1" rating!

Think I've tried 4 runs, which is usually where I call it "quits" - but I may give this another go after a bit of thought.

Managed to take out 5 emitters on the bottom-right, but that's as best as I can muster so far.  :-\

Always appreciate a map that requires more skill than I have - although I can tell this one's going to need a lot of micro-ing, which I really don't enjoy. We'll see.

Many years later - I don't think I've ever tried a map more than 5 times before calling it quits.

I revisited this map and I still can't crack it. Not gonna start a map more than 10 times because that's just absurd.

I see only Hypnotic has beaten it legitimately. Is weasee still around? Maybe he could give it a go?

Possibly the most difficult map I've encountered. "Help?" Lol.

It took many attempts, constant pause micro (even for me), and save scumming... but I managed to pull it off with a win of 25:29.9

Powering all three totems is pretty much a requirement.

The forge singularity can be used to pull creep away from the edge of the map to allow a guppy to land.

It took like 10 min just to stabilize.

I suspect that what Hypnotic did to get their fast time was:

Rushing forge power to get a long enough singularity to build a nullifer. But the timing must be incredibly tight to not get overwhelmed by that point.

Oh I put the wrong image up. On this attempt I tried putting more into firepower and ended up with 3 fire rate, 3 energy, 1 energy cap, 1 build speed. Surprisingly it looks like the base is stable with the third fire rate.

A faster time is definitely possible by being riskier but finding this solution took more time than I care to admit 🤣

I think at the start I spread out a moderate web of collectors north to get any amount of power and some ac from the 3 left mines.

A nullifer and a cannon can be used to take out the left 3 emitters if you are quick

My solution was different. Using this setup, I'm just cycling CN's every few minutes as I let it run. Had to find a solution that was less micro than flying a CN all over the place to charge up some totems. Still not done, but I'm expanding, and more importantly - not having to pause (except to take a screenshot and post this).

Again, huge thanks to Lore for the confidence boost that this map is beatable, lol. And to Hypnotic for making it, of course. Gonna eat a whole container of ice cream to celebrate =P
