Wow, dude.

I had just mentioned you in the forums yesterday as being a map maker who makes amazing - but amazingly difficult - maps.

Case. In. Point.

This is an exceptionally well-done map... There's the relatively immediate threat of the 3 spore launchers, the annoying runners which need to all just die, and the mega spore towers. The challenges keep coming!

If you're new to Jason's maps, you will need to pause a lot at first. And I'd recommend saving every game-minute. Once you take the main pump (10x) on the starting island, you can relax a bit as long as you've secured some totems.

I might try the harder version once I win 7 or 8 Nobel Prizes. Might feel confident enough at that point. :P

Great map, dude! 10/10 from me

Thanks for the map!  ;D ;D ;D
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?

JH,
If I can figure this one out, I'll probably have 7 or 8 bourbons on the rocks.
Thanks for your comments and endorsement.
I'll go back in there and give it another go.
Rugged map.

Hey Helper...

1) Need to cut off that digi on the bottom. Two or three digi-cannons should do the trick.
2) Don't forget to have 3 beams near the PZ so you can switch them out as needed. PZ beams are much more efficient than normal beams.
3) Dunno about bourbon but I used some Peanut M&M energy coupled with a few Jelly Bellies. That did the trick.  ;)

Hope this helps.

Not had time to play this yet but when I do I think:

Spoiler
As Johnny said I will have 2 spare beams literaly floating over that PZ to swap out for the big spore attacks, 3 or 4 beams total at the start
Build some mortors and only use cannons for digitalis
I will send one early cannon south to cut that bottom digitalis off at the base so that I can then try and guppy in and take out those spores and then the 2 emitters

So, easy version or striaght for the full fat cola edition?  ;)

Edit - just noticed you've all figured this ut on the hard version post!!!

Thanks guys. Good advice.
I will continue beating on this one.
Jason's maps do keep you hopping!
I see that he just posted another one...so we have "Not Hard", "Hard", and "Impossible".
Fun time in Creeper World.

What this map feels like:

I'm Stephen Hawking.. I find myself facing MIke Tyson in the ring.
He is pummeling me black n blue, no matter how much I try to outthink him, he just smashes my constructs out of the way.
"At least I'm losing to the Elite", I think to myself.....
.
Then I read the ringside banner: "If you think this map is too easy, try the hard version"

LOL!
Where's the 'up' button for that post?

I had to spend most of yesterday doing real world stuff but will continue to charge today...as futilely as others have charged.
One does what one must.

;D ;D ;D Brilliant!

Fantastic map, taking out those beams early on is vital, you can use those PZs then for beams. Now scared to try the hard version!!

Johnny Haywire

Nice strat, Dom! (As always)

I found it helpful to also...
Spoiler
surround that 10x pump with sprayers, set them to "always on" and "enable AC collection field" which is like a weak singularity. Once you get that pump spooling up, the rest just cascades and you can pretty much coast from there.

In an AMAZING turn of fates, tonight Stephen Hawking has defeated Mike Tyson.

"It's all a matter of Mind over Brawn. Just do the right thing, at the right time, and it *is* easy"

That, and you need to whack the blue #*&^# out of the "pause" button.

Spoiler

Mostly mentioned above, but still worth commenting.
Those first 2 Power zones are not for beams, silly! They are for POWER.
Kill the 15 and 10 spore towers. Not because *they* are dangerous, but because doing so gives you access to that island by the totems.
Killing the spore towers is *E*A*S*Y*
Wot, you complaining about the runners giving your guppy gas? Just CUT THEIR LINE!
A single cannon set on digi, will cut the thread of digi just as it exits the runner nest. This dissolves the whole digi line, and *kills all the runners on the line*. The line must now regrow.
Having the totem island full of beams, and both of the islands semi-close, allows you to *kill* the super spore, thus breaking the recycle chain of creep growth.
That Pump in the west feeds the super-spores, and it is a massive amplifier. If you can keep the spore from feeding it, and sacrifice a few sprayers over it, it will be pumping AC, not creeper. And as the superspore is hastily sucking up creeper, they have very little buffer to resist this.
