Reactors in the PZ's right away. Always, or at least almost always. Reactors in a PZ are more effective at the start of just about any map because you'll be able to build more stuff faster. And forge is also crucial.

I enjoyed the first half of doing this map. The spore threat was enjoyable and I approached the map way too casually the first time so I had to restart.  :P Nice job!

I suppose you put the air exclusion tower over the inhibitor to prevent a fast win, and I get that. At first I was going to march straight to the end, but it got too mundane for even a methodical person as myself, so I used guppies & bombers to make an area near the inhibitor to attack it from there.

The reason I'd prefer not to have the AE Tower is that the only real challenge in the map is the first 5 minutes or so. After that it's just pretty easy and just seems too long and basic. If that's what you're going for then ok, I guess. But the people who like long, easy maps aren't going to like the initial difficulty of defending from the spores, and the people who love difficult maps aren't likely going to enjoy the second half of it so much. But it's not like the attack on the inhibitor was awful.

So overall, I'd say this is definitely a better-than-average map - mainly because of the well-timed early threat. If I have to restart a map, that alone puts it at a 6/10 at least. Don't believe the haters that are rating this map a 1.  ;)

After several tries I finally managed to just barely stop the spores, more than once I survived only because the spore was heading for the back of my base.
