This one's a lot more fun than it looks.

And possibly a lot cleverer, too.

Spoiler
was it possible to relocate, or did you go the long way?

thank you for playing

OK, HOW does one do this map?

It is easy enough to get the neutralizer,
And equally easy enough to clear a clean space around the Inhibitor.

BUT
As the cannons refuse to obey the "stop resupply" command, they suck the CN dry instantly, preventing the neutralizer from being armed next to the inhibitor.

they don't obey stop resupply? I had no idea. Thank you for playing

Spoiler
The long way, I guess? By relocate do you mean moving the CN somewhere else?

Spoiler
yes, I start to think that it is actually possible. Full everything on the forge, lots of energy storage and fly over to kill inhibitor.

(spoiler tag removed as I do not believe it is actually a spoiler)
Not quite.

By the time your Command Node gets within range, the charge on the Forge has run out, *removing* all of your forge upgrades, and throwing away the CN energy storage.

I did it the long way round, as you obviously intended based upon the exact placement and amount of relay points available.

Pity though. If I could have powered my nullifier with my CN (quite doable, if only I could prevent cannons from taking all ammo charges when near the enemy), then I could have shaved of 11, maybe 12 minutes easily.
As id, i will have to be satisfied with my 22m11.4s time.

(yes, if not for the power-to-cannons, it would have been a sub-10m map)

what if your grid is in direction of the pickup? Cuts flying time, allows forge to be fed "almost all the way"?

Putting a grid through the middle of the map is rather painful.
Not impossible, of course. Not even particularly difficult.
But (at least to me) it seemed much more time & effort to do that, rather than just accept the inevitable and do the long runaround.

Ok, marginal improvement in time achieved (6:39.9)

This time the cannons obeyed my "do not resupply" order.
Spoiler

with enough cannons stacked around, and with a few fleets of charged cannons orbiting nearby to replace depleted units,
the CN can power a neutalizer *without* any forge upgrades being active.
As long as no power is stolen by the cannons!

To shave a few seconds off, I started with CN left, then flew it right to the totems while laying down the relay track.
This both speeds the relay deposition, and leaves the CN near the totems, thus a teensy bit closer to the goal.
Fetched the neutraliser pickup and continued on to the inhibitor without recharging, as I *know* the forge will expire before i get there in any case.
The relay is one of 3 I put down in front of the CN as it flew in, while it still *did* have power from Forge charging. This helped build the neutralizer a bit before landing.

you are from planet CW3, where you have acquired druide-level 11/10? WOW, thank you for playing

Johnny Haywire

I did the relocation thing, and kept the forge charged by only activating it occasionally while my CN was in orbit. I didn't use as many cannons as marvin did.

I actually don't know that I'd say this was a "fun" map. Challenging, yes - and since it wasn't like an "impossibly challenging" I definitely give it thumbs up  ;)

So this map was as fun as a grueling map could be. While many probably decided to rage-quit this map, I think anyone who's played this game a while could finish it - if they have the patience.

Thanks for the map!  ;D
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?

Did you also try the "regular" approach? Thank you for playing
