Many thanks to chwooly!

For once you have stumped me other than at the start.  I've got the whole square in the upper left and can't get off it.  There are enough PZ beams to stop any spore, the bertha fire stops me from pushing creeper.

It looks like it must be possible to go down over the pre-placed digi in the middle. Spread the digi further once a strafer destroys it (make sure there's enough creeper there, put an emitter on the PZ relay).

Spoiler
Keep a close eye on some of the nests, they trigger a 'Bickford' and some of them will spill over the edges allowing you to push the digitalis out.

That does it but I don't like that solution because it's so random.  I had to wait quite a while to get it to work in the direction I needed to go.

Once you get a track of digi off into the void you can then use the flow control to push creeper out onto it then erase the digi and redigi once it moves further into the void, Of course this is best done if you have paused the game and use 'n' to go frame by frame, However if you're quick you can also do it while the game is running however I wouldn't try it when the game is in 4X mode.

Cheers

I agree with this statement.  Loved the map, but the name made me a bit concerned! :)
Omnipotence doesn't mean the ability to do what is logically impossible. It's possible, therefore, for God to create beings with the kind of free will that can choose between good and evil, but he can't also force those creatures to choose good. If he forced their choice, it wouldn't be free.

Or if you Yum seriously end making PAC maps , try particles mode?  :)

Your maps have usually much void , particles could be nice combination with these IMO.

Of course it was emotional, but it's not fair to assess the quality of map mainly by "whether you have to pause the game and use 'n' or not". Very easy to create maps which will be according this criterion but absolutely not interesting...

Thank You for Your comment!  :)

So tell me, what would be a "Fair" evaluation? Are only those that tell you how wonderful your maps are "Fair" evaluations? If so let me go back and change every single score and evaluation I have ever done since negative criticism is "just not fair"

How to explain... Constructive criticism by my opinion must be about map content, strategy and tactics of game. Specifically, can explain if You create and upload own PAC map.

Ummm, saying I didn't like the need to use "n" or constant pausing does speak to the map content needed strategy and required tactics. But you know that already. If you do a search will you see that while am not as prolific as you I have put up a map or 3. To be exact since you don't want to search. Map #292, 511, and 3790 (for some reason my name is not shown) are mine. You can now go and play them or just download them and give them 1's I don't really care.

Cheers

GoodMorning

Don't let's argue.

I think that we are agreed that this part of the forum is for discussion of maps; that is, to help people finish existing maps or to help mapmakers make better maps.

Therefore, advice and thoughts help, while arguments do not. Creating a map which implements ideas for fixes and improvements helps a lot to give others understanding.

Framewise advancement can be painful, but also useful.

However, I think that the lack of context which text gives has caused a bit of misinterpretation.
Yum, thank you for your maps, we hope you keep making them.
Chwooly, I doubt that yum was trying to offend. Your feedback seemed constructive, and the note to which you took offence seemed directed at generalities, not at you.

And after all, CW is a game which we play for fun. We make maps for our own and others enjoyment. So if a map is enjoyed by one other person, it was worth committing to CS. And if feedback is given, it is for the benefit of the mapmaker. There is no obligation to play maps we dislike. Feedback is growth, and we need to know what to prune as well as what to fertilise.

Let us keep improving our mapmaking skills, and see what we can create. Agreed?
