Unforgiving. Get the build order wrong and you are awash with creeper. But once the first spore tower is down, it is very easy.

A few reactors, a couple of mortars (being move regularly), and 2 beams are enough for the first spore attack.  The keep building reactors one by one.  I completed the centre with 4 beams, 8 reactors and 2 mortars.

Then to hit the edge, build 2 blasters, but both mortars on one side, and move the blasters either side of the spore tower in the middle of the mortars.  Build a nullifier and the rest is easy (I used the first pz for a reactor)

Hope this helps.

Yeah i don't get this one, either i get overwhelmed at the the first spore launch or the command leaves for orbits after the second.

Did something change about energy production between now and when this was first posted?

It's doable but you gotta build reactors fast. Andy's solution works if you like to pause a lot. My solution requires minimal pausing (only at the beginning)

I built 5 reactors and then built 2 mortars and placed them on right & left sides in the middle. That kept the creeper at bay and didn't involve having to move them.
I then built 4 beams. Two would probably work, but I prefer overkill and safety.

*NOTE* To do build quickly, once you're producing 2 or more energy you'll need to build two reactors at once, but deactivate one as soon as your energy surplus is gone. That is, if you have spare energy in your energy bar, you need to use it to build something. Once it's down to zero let it build up to 1 or 2 and then use "deactivate/activate" regularly to keep your energy surplus between 0 and 2.

Hope this helps!
