Riskbreaker - just put a new time down, couldn't have the Korean beating me on this one!
The trick with this one is 3 bases and careful AOO use.

There are 5 landing spots, I went top left, bottom right and middle. Just before the central base dies move the CN and land a convert just as the walls collapse, reland the CN. This base can then connect the other two bases
4 minutes, 10,2 seconds?
like... human minutes and seconds? or alien ones, that translate into 50+ minutes here, on earth?

I was hoping to see some sub 10min times. A quick start is essential and getting PZ berthas on line as quick as possible is key as well. Screenshots below show my method early doors.
i tried chaining the energy syphons and not build reactors at all but ended up with no power :P
So many variants for enjoyable playing of this game! :D
Here is my five minute screen shot, trying to survive with just a single CN.
I was going to give it a go with more CN's like the D Man suggested tonight, but started beer tasting early.
On the morrow we'll give it a go.

PS - I'm till in second place for now. ;)
Hint: I you use the key combination "Alt" + "Print Screen", it will capture your entire game screen, border to border.
love seeing the different approaches, I prefer maps with lots of options!
It took me an hour to get past that 1:07 mark just right, and I kept on charging (but forgot to save).
I'll take another run at it tomorrow.

Glad you are enjoying it H, I have an idea for another one, hopefully get time to make it soon. Map making takes me way too long, I am so pedantic, this one was about 5 hours to make.
As Riskbreaker pointed out, don't neglect energy production, if a bertha doesn't fit on a PZ then put a reactor on it!

I only made one base - in the upper right. Three PZ beams with a few upgrades will keep the spores at bay. If you feel like it, you can use the other 2 CN's to power some totems. Or not. No need to stress.
Which is why I have no idea why so few players finished this map and gave it such low scores. Were they trying to manage three bases at once and their heads exploded? Were they abducted by aliens who looked like Colonel Sanders?
This is a great map that certainly doesn't deserve such low ratings. Someone should remake this with only one CN.
