This map was mean, but fun XD
If you guys want an extra challenge, try not to go straight for the omega like I did. Although it did take me a good 30 minutes fighting the top corner to finally grab it.
So ahhh what does the fireworks do??? Although I loved the cool fireworks effect at the end of the map ^_^

I made so many mistakes in that map. A second run should easily cut 30 minutes off with no effort what so ever.
It can be. But I create maps for enjoying and time score not so important!
And I like to watch gameplay on YouTube. Sometimes very original way of playing and wondered me! This is more important than time! :)
How can you possibly get to the two 9 on the right side???
Isn't 18 and 19 the only access but you need to get on it to unlock them???

You can use a converter bomb, the one with two arrows, to convert the single emmitters in those 9s.
But that might still not be enough ;D
Was intended so:
Spoiler
1. Get R-Factory and 2 types of bomb: Accellerator and Conversion
2. If you put on creeper emitter (only one on each "9") Accellerator bomb you can get creeper level that more than level of land
3. If you then put on creeper emitter Conversion bomb you can activate one more R-Factory and unlock Controller to open Bridge.

Huh... I was able to get the 999 a different way.

I brought all the land down to 1, except for a wall around the emitter. I then built a 4-height wall around the area-of-effect of a regular converter, and opened the emitter and let it fill. I then carefully timed the start of a 10 second singularity pulse (on the other side of the 9) with dropping the converter bomb and flipping all of the creeper in the pool to anti-creeper. I then quickly blocked the emitter back up and removed the far side wall of my pool. So basically I converted a large pool of creeper and then pulled it away from the conversion bomb before it flipped back. I then nullified the emitter and flooded it to take over.
I never did get the other two bomb machines to work though :(
Yeah, getting the other 9s was tricky, but doable.
I couldn't get the bomb machines working, though.

I was able to get the second one workign with the singularity weapon, but by the time I thought to do so I was already basically done. And even that didn't work with the third machine.
Quibbles aside, fun map, even if I took forever to do it lol
My method for getting the nine was basically walling off the bomb machines along with the emitters to level nine then overflowing the walls with accelerator bombs. The last one is a little more tricky seeing that it was at level nine but basically once the walls were overflowing I raised the pool to level nine with my Terps activating it ^_^
It never crossed my mind to use a singularity lol XD
I have been loving these maps since the start, However I have noticed a trend over the last few maps that has completely made these maps not even close to enjoyable for me anymore, I don't know why the change was made but you used to be able to block off star gates with terrain of 9, Now that is no longer possible so both stargates and numbered stargates have pretty much become useless. Even if you take over an area using a numberer stargate, Once you build up terrain to 9 and move the circle on the creep floods over the terrain and you lose every thing you gained. What is the point? Anyone who thinks that is enjoyable is not playing it from my end.
I have never been much for trying to win with the quickest time but now it just seems like you have to take an hour just to gain 1 flip emmitter. Then when you destroy a power emitter to gain the power point, It floods with so much creep you lose 3 emitters and have to wait another hour. The need for micro management has become almost unbearable. I truly hope that this trend is only with a few map makers and not something we will be seeming more of in the future.
I hope future maps will go back to being enjoyable and playable.

Probably one of the best CSM maps yet. I like how it has two distinct layers to it.
And I'm #1 on the score board for once! Not for long though...

I don't follow your train of thought, rules where established for this type of map, now the rules have been changed which changes the game play for said map. It is not the same any longer,

Any yes, I had the AC up to 1200 height, using an accelerated pool that i then concentrated using singularity that lasted more than 90 seconds...
Ok. Level of land under R-Factory (left of two) is 7x100=700 and under right - 9x100=900. and you need in the center of R-Factories level of anti-creeper 704 and 904. If you reach this level of anti-creeper you can put chip on this Factories.
See also my "Hint" in my previous post how easy to activate this 2 R-Factories.
If will be problem please save game in slot and attach here cw3 file from this slot. Then I can find what is problem.

The bomb factories are tricky. A different approach to the last one as I couldn't do it with the singularity weapon:

On the third try, doing the exact same thing as before, the bomb factories converted just fine.
<shrug>
Still a very good map, the "overflowing" levels in the beginning are quite nasty, but manageable once one figures out where they are getting those ridiculous levels from.
BEST MAP so far. What a delightful and well conceived scenario. Love it! Congrats.
Nice map, but too many bomb types. Omega felt like cheating (but ah well it fixed that nasty connect-everything-to-everything area in the top-left corner), flipper was too limited to be really useful, Freezer came too late to be of any use whatsoever.

It requires different tactics. Brute forcing doesn't work quite as well. I think some people have videos on youtube with some decent times.
I use the blockers for gates with less than 800 creeper so I can seal them. With creative use of the converter, you can knock down quite a few gate networks below 800.
Kill-Type Gates are your friendsBTW, one cool trick with the kill-type gates (the numbered, square gates) is to toggle them on and off over and over to knock down creeper level. Note, kills AC too, so seal that part if you don't want to lose AC. Very handy for quickly knocking down high creeper levels to speed things along.

I've got a big pink "Good lu to all" message over the bottom quarter of the map - it won't go away, even after saving. It's really getting in the way, any advice?

I'm really struggling with this too. I've managed to get the general level down to about 1150 meaning they are still overflowing, just not by as much, but am now at a bit of an impasse on how to lower the general level further. I can see that there are a few really big-hitter emitters doing 1440 for example, and can disable one of them but it's not enough to lower the general level.
