Paste!This map, CS417: Plateau Updated, when compared to
CS376: Lance: Plateau (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=15904.0), violates Rule 3 of the community enforced
Ground Rules (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=15934.0). This is because CS417 is a VERY-slightly-modified duplicate of your own map, CS376, and you are aware of this. The low extent of the modifications applied to CS417 also mean that CS376 violates Rule 2 of the Ground Rules in that it is an unfinished map, as CS417 is the "finished version".
As it stands, neither map will be redacted manually by any authority but will be if at least three players report the map. This is quite likely to happen seeing as all you've changed is the placement of a few totems, and texture.

In this case the lack of difference is less noticable due to the textural changes, bet remember that textures rarely contribute to gameplay.

seriously? ???
your trying to put off mappers? ::)
since we have so many i guess that's ok.... oh wait! ;)
@Clean0nion, i really do understand the sentiments but i think just asking nicely and cutting new mappers a break might be a more productive method of achieving the desired result, we have only a few repeat mappers as it is, so a case by case method might be in order for a bit.
using words like "viloates" for a non-consensus set of commumity rules, that may not have been read, let alone agreed with, by this or any other author.
maybe a link to the topic and a polite request to the author to read it, and why you think these rules are desirable. :)
@Lance perhaps you could request the previous version be removed since this is more a "fixed" map than a new version, i believe totem placement was iffy in the first version so this is could be considered a replacement. 8)
@Lance -
I appreciate all of the extra work you are doing to upgrade and improve your maps.

The concept of "community enforced Ground Rules" was first discussed here: http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=15934.0 and is nothing more than one person's opinion.
