I will lock the topic now. For discussion of the Pass the map 1 use it's topic in CS, and for overall discussion about this game use the current pass the map topic.
My idea is the following: each person gets to make a 30x30 part of the map. When you want to make your part, download the latest version of this map and make one part of it. I marked the 30x30 squares by huge CRPL cores with runnernest graphic. You can choose any of them.
1. Make a post in this thread with a large LOCKED!!! in it.
2. Download the FINALIZED map form the post above.
3. Make your part. You have a day to do that, but obliviously the faster the better.
4. Finalize the new map, and edit your post to say UNLOCKED :D and upload the map to your post.
5. Wait at for at least 2 people to change the map before making next part.
Any CRPL is fine but avoid complex scripts since they can get messed up between the edits/testing. Also don't change global creeper/digitalis behaviour since that affects parts made by others.

Added a small "sea" part full of indestructible slipemitters. Destroy the core on the rocky hill to remove all slipemitters. If someone would care to continue the sea a little further and add some more (they all use the same script; variables for emit amount and delay) that would be groovy.
And how do i get a downloaded map into the editor?
I'm assuming that since it isn't locked, I should make my part of it.

Added an area with big runners, an emitter and ore mines on 'rocky terrain' added an AET to stop people from using strafers to cut of the digitalis and and destroy all the runners at once
also, feel free to remove the AET (under the nest), even though I personally think it's a good idea, if it disrupts your vision for your part of the map, you can get rid of it/ edit it

Make a new project. In that project's folder, replace save.cw3 with the .cw3 file from this thread (or from any other map you want to open in the editor). The file must be renamed to "save.cw3" if that's not its name already.

sounds like a fun game. Do you want us to cover the areas we did back up, or leave them like was done?
I guess there's no point to covering it, though.

-sarcastic gasp- someone's infringed onto my terrain! Looks like a 5x5 brush at level 4 terrain - almost definitely an unnoticed accident.
When the final piece is done, it might be a good idea to keep it here in the thread and give all the authors some time to double-check their piece before pushing it to CS.

I added 2 CRPL units, one is an OreMaker can convert 50 ammo into 20 ore^^ The other is the gun form Chimera. I also added an AAT that expands a bit over other parts hope you don't mind. And I changed C0 CRPL tower image with another one that I took from the Wiki. If you don't like it pleas just change it back.

Added another tile, corrected an accidental edit to my previous section, and I also corrected some of the grammar in the message artefact. Sorry, whoever added that!
I also added a BETTER ore refinery, taken directly from Skarsgard World. See that little ore patch on my new square. Yeah. Build an ore mine there. You might be surprised.

In the Void beyond the Ocean, there is a Platform of Perfect Balance. Or is it?
That little custom core really does NOT like player units landing on the lower half of the circle. He gets his buddy (the upper right emitter) to punish them when they do. He doesn't care much if you land in the upper half, though. If you can take out the upper right emitter without destroying the AC emitter, then the core gives up and boosts the AC levels.
On my next edit I'm going to move some of the ocean emitters further along the seabed. If one person protests, I won't.

Well I intend to make a Pass the map 2 when this is finished :D So it will start in 2~3 days since today the map will be completed, 1 day to check it if all CRPL works and so on, then upload to CS, and wait for some feedback :D
Also I through to decide for a theme for the next map, any ideas?
My idea is CW1 style, Skars gets wrapped back in time, and now has to prepare the worlds he will visit on CW1 so that his old self has a chance.
How about a more complex one?
Alternate between blue and red tiles. If you choose a blue tile, okay. But if you choose a red tile, you have to add a CRPL feature.
I've always like the 'machine world' style maps - all sharp edges and straight lines.
Have a look at most of yum's maps and teknotiss's Runner Farm in Alpha.

Ok anyway when Michionlion get's done with his part please playtest and check any CRPL in the map. If there are any mistakes/things to fix lock the thread and make the fixes, I think it would be cool if we could get a completed version uploaded to CS within 12 hours :D Also let's decide on the theme for the next Pass the map. We will start it about a day after we upload this one to CS so that we can get some feedback on what's good/bad.

Finished the terrain, added in a WIP opening text. It is pretty late here, but I had to post this before I went to bed. If you want, somebody can finish up with the opening text and do a couple play-tests (I did one myself, and could barely start... might want to tone down the difficulty).

This appears to be a rift world... a broken world composed of parts if planets lost in Riftspace.
But Riftspace was destroyed...
Well, someone must have recreated it. Or perhaps this world has existed from long ago and something has been blocking us from detecting it.
Another thing, Skars. There are all sorts of different technology from different eras. Particularly the ore mines - watch out for those.

By the way,.. SOMEONE MOVE THOSE SLIP EMITTERS AROUND!!!
We need to recheck all of the CRPL, as even after defeating all enemies I still couldn't claim victory. I think it might be C0 ore mine. If you could please check the script, and also reposition the slip emitters, and make the opening message. That should be all that needs to be done before uploading to CS.

C0's ore mine had Counts for Victory, which was unchecked; it and the other special ore mine had Supports Digitalis which I also unchecked.
The slip emitters are distributed along the ocean floor.

Actually, my ore mine is made of four scripts. They all begin with "thing_". Once an ore mine is built it stops using "thing_build" and uses the other three. If you modify any one so that "Self CONST_COUNTSFORVICTORY 0 SetUnitAttribute" is in the initial once loop, that should be fine.
None of them contain anything that would be setting it to TRUE, so it's fine.
I would like to upload it but unluckily I seem to have some issues with my graphics card, and my game lags terribly so I'm unable to post a score. No. It actually destroys itself then places a fresh CRPL core where it was. This also destroys the ore mine and ore patch, but that's intentional. Unless a core doesn't count for victory by default, the script does need to be changed.
