Got it running by entering fullscreen in the Proton version, pressing ALT+F3 and clicking "Move to Screen" (or something similar, I use KDE in German). It should then be fullscreened on the main monitor. Hope this helps some other people in the future who will have that problem.

Hello! Thanks for reaching out about this fullscreen issue.

To start with, and just to double-check the basics, are you using the native Linux version of the game, or are you running the Windows version through Proton? If there is a native Linux version available (and if 'CW3' is Creeper World 3, then there is!), using that might help bypass some compatibility issues that can sometimes occur with Proton.

If you are using the native version, or if you'd still like to explore options for Proton, it might be worth looking into Unity command-line parameters. I recall that Unity games sometimes respond to parameters like
-monitor N or
-adapter N when launched. You could try adding one of those when launching the game to see if it allows you to choose the correct monitor. The exact parameter and how it works might depend on the specific version of Unity the game was built with, though.

Also, Linux desktop environments often provide ways to control which monitor applications start on. It might be worth exploring your KDE settings to see if there's a way to specify default monitor behavior for applications, or perhaps there are utilities or commands specific to Fedora/KDE that could help you direct the game to your external monitor at startup. Searching online for "force application to specific monitor Linux" or "KDE display settings application startup" might give you some useful pointers.

Hello everyone,
I have the following issue: When I put the game in Fullscreen (either with the Settings option or ALT+Enter), the game is stuck on my laptop screen, even when I have a second monitor connected. I run Fedora 41 under KDE 6 (Wayland) and use Proton 9. Playing the game in windowed mode allows me to play it on the external screen. Did anyone experience something like this already and has an solution?
Any answer is appreciated.
