beat the demo. short and sweet. but that was a good 3 hours of messing around. 10/10 will play again. XP there were a few typos but thats to be expected. i enjoyed the build your own ship. my War Tanker is strong. though without guppies to help supply it outside of combat range it kinda falls flat.
You’d be surprised how many people can look at something and not see a typo. Then the 500th person comes along and goes, “duh”. This game has a lot of story text, so I’m sure there are plenty hiding out.
I’ll proof read the entire thing for you today. I’ll make a playthrough video you can watch and put timestamps in the description for you to be able to tell when and where and put it in the thread.
Thank you, for EVERY game you have done so far. Bought every one, this one will be no different. But as I’m up, and I NEED TO PLAY, I’m grabbing the demo. 🙂
This is great news, I can’t wait to mess around with it when I get home!

I love how casual you are about this. This is kinda the release of a thing you’ve worked on for years. But anyway, even being really limited, I like what the demo shows off. It’s a perfect balance between demo and retail versions.
And now as dawn as breaking
I jump up from my bed
and yes, I still remember
what the Virgil man had said
I run straight to my laptop
to see if he is right…
Yes! The game had come last night!!!
“Particle Fleet” to the tune of “No School Tomorrow” (look it up)
Is there a “minor bug report, which might actually be intended behaviour”-thread for the Demo?
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
When you have AMP crystals, there are a couple of upgrades that are locked out, however when you click the questionmark, you can see a explanation of what they are and what they do.
Have gone through the demo, must say, already hooked on the story-line. so much going on in it in just those 5 levels! The fact that we’ll have infinite maps with the great map making community? soooo pleased right now. Can’t wait ’till launch! Again, can’t say enough that I hope the launch goes well for you!
Wholy flippin cripes, SUPER PROPS to you sir once again! You have exceeded my expectations! As stated earlier, had played through the demo… Once launch hit, I purchased it on Steam … just launched it (was doing other things out and about so didn’t get to play right at launch purchase), and I got all the achievements and all the progress was saved that I’d done on the demo … I’d actually expected to have to start from scratch (and was completely fine with that thought), but noooo… whatever magic you pulled, I applaud you!
Particles x Fleet.
I ship it.
Kreygasm! Much love for this game and it’s developer! I can’t wait to buy it tomorrow!
Sweet job as always Vergilw! running some stuff currently with some guild mates, but will download this and be playing as much as possible 🙂
Good luck on the launch!!

Virgil…. you are the man! thanks for the demo!
Ripped through the demo this morning over (and after) breakfast. Quality work!
Can’t wait to get home tonight and get the whole thing on Steam.
Thanks for the demo, enjoyed it very much. Will saves be able to transfer to the full game?
The only thing wrong with this is… Its not the full game 🙁 I played through built a bunch of ships and want more 🙂
Can’t wait to buy the full game when ever you’re ready to launch it
Could not run the demo on a Mac, hopefully the full game works. Here’s the error in case it helps:
LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -10810 for the file /Users/ivan/Downloads/ParticleFleet.app.
Yes.
