Yet again, Knuckle Cracker brings you more awsomeness.
A fresh update to CW2 and the CW2 Map Editor are now available. Aside from a number of bug fixes, there are three interesting additions.
- Egg bearing drones. Drones on custom maps can now be programmed to carry an ‘egg’ of creeper. When they get destroyed, their egg hatches. Ow.
- You pause the game because you want to analyse the situation. You’re a careful strategist… Now you can press “N” while the game is paused to advance the game by a single frame. Bring your jewelers eyeglass to bear on those tight combat situations….
- You’re looking at maps in your “My Maps” page. Now you can click a little “i” button (replaces the little “s” button). This will take you straight to the online page for just this map. From there you can see scores or jump over to the forums and speak your peace. You will also notice that the custom map name (or ID) is shown on the My Maps screen right above the scrolling description.
Here’s a little picture of a Drone egg. It’s subtle… right up until it hatches. Best have your heavy weaponry ready if you let this proud mama through!
This patch is only updating Creeper World 2 editor for me it wont patch Creeper World 2. Editor states version 0327, while Creeper World 2 says 0307
There was a problem with the game update for a few hours. It linked to the wrong file (the map editor update). Download the game patch again and try it one more time. Should work properly now.

The Frame jumping could be used to measure the number of frames anything takes, such as the conversion bomb does to detonate.

update ideas: ivisible items (underground) ,custom music , code map cracker , creeper world redemtion auto-builder, exploding drones (self-destructs when killed and damages everything in splash radius), lazer drones (drones that attack with lazers from medium range. [——–] <——range), auto diggers (digger drones that dig super fast. average time to dig up 5 tiles is 3 seconds), nuke launcher (kills alot of creeper in the splash radius. 3 times larger than a launcher. you can only build one)

The blog is not a very good way to make game suggestions. If you come to the forums you will find an easier way to make suggestions, see if anyone else has already suggested what you suggest and if there is perhaps a consensus for or against the “improvements” that you suggest.
For some reason, I got the patch for the game, installed it, but the editor is still on version 307. I’m confused. I’m not finding a separate patch for the editor, either…
You just need to download the latest editor and install it. You can install it right on top of the old editor. Here is the URL for the map editor:

Registering for a forum account has nothing to do with purchasing the game. Anyone can register at any time. But, you are probably too young to be participating on the forums without your mother helping. This may also be true for these blog comments. You should have your mother oversee your comments before you post again.
No matter how much you beg, you’re not getting a free activation code for the game, sorry. However, 10 dollars should be a small price to pay for a game as awesome as this. If you really want it, see if you can do some chores around the house to get some money, or try telling your mom it’s a liquid simulation game that teaches strategy, and adaptivity. See if that does anything. lol. Besides that, registering for the forums is completely free. Like I said, you just need an email account, which is also free. But since it seems your mom won’t let you create an account, and since I’m feeling nice (and bored) today, I’ll post your ideas on the forums for you.

Oh god! Its everywhere!!!! Hmm anti-creeper drones? could make for some insane creeper wars.
You can also create anti creeper phantoms, and, using fields, Anti Creeper emitters. This is due to the fact that creeper wraps at 2.48B. Much fun. 😀
