    I suggest that the remnants be left alone. That way, you wouldn’t waste all your creeper on a failed attempt and be completely out of a weapon.

    I think that burst mode just shouldn’t use remnant ore. That way, map makers could increase difficulty by not giving any mineral ore. With remnant you can overbuild makers and get fine effect too.

    I don’t quite understand what you mean. If you are dumping all of your ore why would there be any remnants? I’m probably missing something obvious here.

    what do you mean by remnants? the ore artifacts?

    if so id just do something and make remnants convert into ore in storage over time, then make it where remnants cant be used directly by ore makers, so that you cannot unleash 500-100 ore of anticreeper instantly, and it keeps remnants usefull and can still use them for burst mode

    If it were up to me I would love to see you release what is finished now. I would not mind updating again in a few days/weeks with another update. I am sure that most people agree with me. I have played the 31 maps so many times that anything new would be great.

    But its ok. The code maps are worth the wait. Thank’s for posting these updates.
    Hope your sleep is restful, and take as long as you need to make your work as awesome as everything else you’v made.

    I’m literally checking 5-10 times per day for an update….. Like the burst mode idea, but I agree that remnants shouldn’t be included in it…. What about having an alternative stockpile strictly for reabsorbed creeper? Itching to play more maps!! I’ve replayed all the bonus missions multiple times now, and have resorted to dumping 1000’s of good creeper into a square of shields and then deleting one just to watch it flow…. I’ve wrung out the game about as much as I can! XD

    If burst mode is added, then I think it shouldn’t be too efficient. If there was no down side, I would just build 1 maker on burst mode, instead of 2-4 makers to use up all the ore. Maybe it would waste 1 ore, for every 4 ore used.
    Or after burst mode is used, the maker could become damaged, and would need repairs to start making anti-creeper again; or maybe it would just self destruct, Making a nice bomb effect.

    Personally, I think remnants should be unaffected by the burst.
    That way you have to process it into creeper and vacuum it back into ore before you can burst it. Otherwise those 2k ore remnants would make some maps WAY too easy. heh.

    Er… I think I may have overreacted a bit. I hope you find a solution soon. I cannot… I will have to wait a while longer for the editor it seems, but it will be sooo worth it.

    I know, how about a new option for the maker which slowly turns Remnants into proper ore? Then you could build up your normal ore with remnant ore.

    We will never find a solution… it’s too much for people to handle. Some say it’s confusing, some say it’s a waste of time, etc….

    The problem isn’t with having remnants be used or not with the burst (this would obviously be extremely imbalanced on some maps) – the problem is that if you don’t have remnants counting towards burst, this means that sometimes the optimal strategy will be to actively make creeper with remnants for the sole purpose of vacuuming it back up which can be quite tedious to do well – an alternative is to let makers convert remnants to regular ore, but this might cause confusion for players who did not understand the purpose of the convert, since it would be useless (counterproductive potentially) for anything other than turning remnants into ore that can be bursted. At least, this is what I assume the problem is based on what I’ve read from the forums

    How about this: if there isn’t more then 20 or so ore in your storage, up to 20 ore is converted from remnants to creeper.

    The thing is, remnants can’t be ‘just’ converted to ore by itself. It would probably need another type of building that would be able to do that. And it would be hard to determine the convertion speed.

    Hmmmmm, whilst knowing how many features are being added to the makers and my reluctance to suggest, yet another one; What about being able to choose whether the makers prefer using remnants or stored ore to create creeper?

    With preferring remnants, you could just create what I see in my mind as greeper processing factories where you shield up two or more makers, one set on vacuum the others on producing preferred remnant ore (when remnant runs out they would then go to using stored ore making the process pointless), to convert to storage. Then this could be considered the cost of using the burst feature for a lot of ore, not being less efficient, but needing to create the extra makers,shields and so on and the time needed to make your burst option more effective.

    The reason I suggest this as an option rather than the default is because I know we all try and get that mined ore into storage and used up first as it takes longer xD (well at least for me) so the preference of using stored ore before remnant would be the option default.

    Just as a side message :P, congrats on the game, loved and played both and looking forward to all future updates xD
