Looks great! I am really looking forward to the new mechanics. — I think the percentage of reclaimed area might need to be tweaked especially for smaller maps (if this mechanic is even kept). 50% isn’t that much and closer to 80% would guarantee having to push into at least one or two emitters.
80% would probably be too close to a complete clean victory.
This mechanic is intended to have an alternative (i would guess) to a slow endgame which feels just like tiding up.
I cannot remember if 50% is a fixed value or if it is up to map maker to set a specific value – this could be a possibility if not already implemented this way.
Another thing i recognized about this type of victory is that creeper could have reacted with exploding eggs to counter charging – that would be a menace…

I assume that they will not only be configurable, but also could be manipulated by level programming so that you could have things like packs of eggs rushing down your base.
I have just one question. Will we get runners and this white string thingy (i don’t remember it’s name) in creeper world 4? To be honest they were my favourite enemy in third game…

Can you give us details on how the creeper / anti creeper is working in this build? In older games it worked more like water but in this video it seems more like a blob able to creep over mountains.
with the old games the creeper moves more like a heat simulation, where as this game it will work more like an actual liquid with waves and ripples (and maybe possibly configurable viscosity?
I don’t care if I am working my eventual first true career job away from home by the time the release comes out; I’ll stick around to get the game, beat it, and absorb the next lore. I don’t even care if this will be the first installment I have to pay for since the first 2 games (I tested CW3 and Particle Fleet and got free keys for both).
this looks amazing, so many possibilities with those eggs! a question
will you be able to set it to: take half the map back, eggs detonate, hold control of a certain percentage of the map for a time before you can count as a win
I can just imagine a map where there are pockets of creeper sitting around the map with eggs in them, be careful not to detonate the eggs before you are ready cause they are dangerous
Looking great! Keep up the good work. As is your usual style I notice that there was no reference to release date. I am sure it will be perfect when it comes out. Thanks for the dev update!

“SimCity 2000: Residential vs. Commercial” is looking awesome!
These eggs are an interesting new feature and I’m looking forward to it.
It’s on the otherhand striking how much comments (on YouTube, too) demanding a higher difficulty. What I always did love in these games was that you, if you don’t care for the score, can play pretty relaxed with no real pressure (exceptions like the CW3 End missions prove the rule)
I don’t want to say “don’t make if more difficult” because other players want their fun, too. I just hope these things will be fully optional, so the old and cozy carebears like me, will still have fun 🙂
Man this game looks better and better. I canNOT wait to buy it day one!

Pumped for this.

Is it planned for you to be able to set what the eggs will move towards? (protecting creeper structures might be nice)
Looking great, by the way.
