I might have promised fool proof, but I never promised user proof.

SC - I'm not sure why, but this one is not registering when I try to do an 'Import' with the Scorer. Just thought you'd like to know.

It's because 'February' is spelled out instead of using '2' and hyphens. But you can copy the table (from 'The Shining' up to 'Low') and paste on the missions table in the tool; this will work.
Behold, Nexus! Looketh skywards, for thy obliteration thence nighs, my foul enemy!

The rules imply forum time, which is GMT-5, so it should continue for 10 more hours beyond the time of your post until 0500 GMT Monday.
(For reference: The unadjusted forum time can be found on this page.)

Well, we don't all live in a timezone where we will be able to close the tournament at that time. We might also have a life that prevents us from closing at that time. Dont be such a stickler!

GMT 19:00 (I think this it the time set out in the rules)
...strongly implies that closing at this time is due to a misinterpretation of the rules.

B: If zaphod cannot close the tournament at the scheduled time, there are others that can. It is only a matter of asking nicely.

You have it backwards... You subtract 5 hours to get from GMT to GMT-5, you have to add time to go back. 1900 GMT = 1400 in GMT-5 and 0500 GMT = 0000 in GMT-5.

ctuna

Perhaps we should leave out the GMT reference. Doesn't forum time show on your screens?

mthw2vc

Not if you have the offset set to something other than 0, it doesn't.

ctuna

Guess I don't know why one would do that. At any rate, if one did, I'd expect that one would know what it means, and apply it to the process.
