All - Apologies for what I'm throwing at you here. I kind of wandered into my first Weekly tournament and found out (after) that I have to create the next one. I think you will all recognize the authors I've selected and the games look playable. I didn't think it fair to actually play them before posting, so we will all be off to an even start. I'll try the first one sometime in the next 24 hours. An extra week was tacked on to allow for vacation/holiday time. PLEASE post comments/advice in case I've managed to muck things up too badly. dbit All TournamentsCode Map ScoreboardTournament Score Tool| Map Name: | Size: | Complexity: | | Jules Gabriel Verne | Medium | High | | H.G. Oh crud! See what happens when you put a rookie in charge? I can't tell by looking - are they actually the identical maps? EDIT: OK, now I see what happened. Those are CW1. I didn't look for prior games over there. However...since you're here, why not give these a go? dbit

Thanks for the reminder, mth. I enjoyed those tournaments. Wish I could see how to do as well in CW2.
Happy New Year to all.

Katra and TheSmileyCoder - you guys are smokin'! I never can manage 'Experimentals' - especially the Mirrors. I keep turning them the wrong way and blowing up my own pieces.

Pause the game as you turn the mirrors that way you can preview the beams. You have some pretty impressive times yourself.

Is there a system to your colorscheme in the score table?

SC - it is the default settings from the scoring tool created for the Weekly tournaments. I'll find the link to that thread and post it. dbit http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=7477.0PS - looking at it, it appears to be "Gold", "Silver", and "Bronze"...just like the Olympics.

Hi Lord_Farin, I'm keeping a running total of all the players up in the second post. Current Scores as of the "Last Edit" date/time:

Ok, I'll play. Fun maps - but I enjoy having a variety of complexities. Even low complexity maps offer their own strategy for top scores since you usually don't need to build up as much and can attack sooner. But a nice blend of maps where you are initially threatened and ones where you can build up your defenses.
