Welcome to the Horan Galactic Rebel Alliance!

     MY FRIENDS,

                     Long has the time since we emerged from the slumbering abyss that is Raither. Having been in war for nearly 1000 years by the ***Classified***. We have but annihilated them from our home and have set our eyes to the faithful sky. I mean errr.... space. I mean the space outside our galaxy (and it's various star systems) (you get the point) Only to have met yet a new foe that threatens our galaxy's alliance once again. The ruthless Particulate shares many aspects of our last enemy and we will deal with it like we did with ***Classified***. Come my fellow Humans, Slugs, Crystals, and  'various other species that I won't bother saying right now'.

Our goal is EXACTLY like our Alliance name, we expect a rebellion from our comrades, to fight against their oppressors and utterly and completely destroy them (unless they surrender of course, even then you should still blow them up in my humble opinion).

Our renowned heavy fighters, frigates, corvettes, and destroyer class vessels focus on versatility and defense through sheer combat potential. We've got your back covered regardless if you're a helpless colony under siege by corrupt or defunct corporations or a souring empire facing a new threat. Do note that we're constantly revamping ships and upgrading existing ones, expect some total radical new designs to arise as well as we prepare for the particulate threat.

-Warfield -General- Horan Galactic Rebel Alliance

United Alliance of The Four Capital systems

The United Alliance of T.F.C.S is renowned for being the first responder to the ***Classified*** war. It's long lasting fleet designs have (mostly) survived the test of time through annual redevelopment and major overhauls over the past centuries. Unfortunately the entire sector of Horan is now too large for a single alliance to handle. As such several batches of T.F.C.S have segregated themselves to designated zones where they have took semi-control of their systems within their specific zone. T.F.C.S remains the largest imposing fleet however and is certainly the most rugged and reliable force to date. Their vessels rely more on experienced crew than fancy weapon platforms favoring mighty tactical advantages when used right, and thus offer several weapon types for each individual vessel which while lacks specialization allows T.F.C.S ships to be amazingly cost effective in dire situations, something T.F.C.S has gone through more than once. Many of the crew of these vessels have tested themselves to brutal training in T.F.C.S own simulacraem learning thousands of methods to repair,man , assemble and outsmart in a specialized cryogenic training center. Due to this many crew members of T.F.C.S have skills no other corporation match to date as well as still being pretty young to demonstrate their prowess. T.F.C.S ship line does lack slightly in diversity however. But the sheer amount of weapons on each T.F.C.S vessel provides an insurmountable defensive coverage per vessel, just try not to get hit too much.

~~~
We would like to inform our allied corporations, alliances and deprived systems that the bulk of our complimentary defense brigades will be mostly compromised of our heavy fighter classes. Heavier vessels will be sent if situations are dire. All allied corporations will receive 3 Froyd-Halycon brigades and a single Evraxus heavy destroyer as well as varying utility fleets. We hope this comprehensive supplement bolsters your defenses against the particulate threat significantly.
Yours Truly - General Warfield
Fighters~         Note that the fighters energy battery modules can be swapped out for dischargers or guppies(Usually former).
Ah the tried and true main battle vessels of every corporation. T.F.C.S deploys much much heavier vessels that should even be considered cruisers or destroyers as their fighter class. Unlike many other corporation fighter classes however, T.F.C.S knows how well their army crew can utilize the features of a well armed vessel and this applies even for the fighter class. Get ready for a sore beat down from the T.F.C.S rugged and true fighter class of vessels, guaranteed to save a planet near you.
Spoiler
The Hindern
Introducing the Hindern, a utility class vessel that is notably well armed and stocked for even moderate threat. It's structure supports defensive architecture that confuses particulate swarms to target harmless armored pieces of hull. A notable feature is the the kinetically fielded weapons platform , often confused to be a heavy drone that lies in front of the main ship. This amply armed weapons platform can hold it's own against masses of particulate due to it's 4 lasers and 1 particle beam. It is worth noting that the lathe of this ship is often replaced with a port.
Fred
Excuse the stupid Ahem... I mean imaginative name our engineers gave this vessel. Regardless of the name,Fred is a tried and true fighter used nearly everywhere, a favorite for the outer planets that frequently come under attack by small particle swarms. Fred is an effective fast response vessel that due to it's large energy storage can effectively hold back a surprisingly large amount of particulate given it's captain is not stubborn enough to stay still at a spot. Want a rapid firefighter Fred's the one you call.
~~~

Frogger
Technically a utility class vessel. The Frogger earned its rank in the Fighter section when one highly intelligent albeit eccentric captain of one of these Froggers effectively out maneuvered a doppler ship and rescued a small colony by ramming directly into a particulate Doppler ship. Miraculously the ship survived with nearly 2/3 rd's of it's integrity remaining. Unfortunately the single captain that manned the ship died to an unfortunate heart attack shortly after the collision and his ship drifted off into the gravitational pull of the planet nearby and crashed, thankfully the ship's black box remained intact and told his valiant story to inspire millions for generations to come. His name still inspires many Frogger and utility class captains today. This ship comes with a Grabber and only 3 lasers and a single particle beam with a uniquely armored bridge mimicking the torso of a Star Crab of the planet Hilladen. This vessel along with Stratus lack an energy battery module. It is notable that the Frogger hull has been resigned to be more cost effective and incapable of doing the same ramming maneuver it is infamous for.

Furious
The Furious gets it's name for one reason and one reason only, it's one hell of a defensive ship. Armed with a single MK7 and numerous support systems as well as its own anti-particulate matter defense system. The Furious is a stalwart albeit small ship designed for the leapfrog tactic, defending itself and small fleets with it's mighty weapon array as well as linking energy to sieg-ing units. Despite the numerous modules on the ship, it is in-fact nearly 200 years old, initially built on a ship nearly twice it's size with generally the same armaments. It's nowadays model is a testament to the engineering techniques to shrink heavy weapons platforms for cost effectiveness and versatility albeit with some hull armor loss. The Furious is the prime support vessel for most Fighter brigades bringing well needed anti-ship weapons onto the enemy. Do note that the Furious is ironically T.F.C.S main tanker ship despite it's limited capabilities as one (Mostly due to T.F.C.S vessels often having long range ports to widen an energy mine range significantly). The Furious is a go-to tanker meaning that despite it having multiple engines it is designed for swift energy-distribution and mediocre enemy dissipation.

~~~
Reverbrate
Essentially a revamped Furious for assault missions, the  Reverbrate shares the mighty MK7 cannon and places it on a remarkably small hull supported by decent missile payload and the same anti-particulate matter defense system. It lacks the port module of the Furious however as well as an additional engine in trade for significantly more structural armor. Do note that the Reverbrate should be considered on offensive missions than the Furious despite it's slower speed. The frontline demands sustainability than speed (Besides a tanker shouldn't be flying around for most of the time anyway :P).
~~~

Stratus
Despite multiple captains stating that the Stratus looks 'ugly' one cannot deny it's frontal force of two MK7 cannons on such a small frame AND still with a smaller than average anti-particulate matter defense system. The pinnacle of anti-ship artillery if only for it's cost effectiveness and brute strength. Watch out for shock orbs however as the vessel has no energy storage modules and if it's supporting power source is fried, you'll have a dead ship in no time. The Stratus is the one of the two Alliance ships (the other being the Frogger) without an energy battery module. The Stratus is designed to give overwhelmingly anti-ship power at an affordable price, and it does it's job well.

Haydern
Did someone call for an exterminator. The Haydern is a particularly old vessel that has survived the test of time for nearly 400 years. Constant upgrades have not only shrink-ed it's structure significantly while retaining its combat functionality. It also dons the most advanced anti-particulate matter defense system for its vessel category. Perfect for a quick defense of an ally planet. Comes with a Lathe(replaceable with a discharger or port), a Guppy refueling ship, an energy battery and complimentary missile/cannon system. The Haydern are renowned for their role in planet saving, even before the threat of the particulates. Just remember, these guys ALWAYS come first (mainly cause they have an un-interchangeable Lathe module). The Haydern's main weakness is the dangerously close bridge to the front of the vessel when most of the weapons are located, as such the vessel must be positioned well or constantly be moving to ensure effectiveness. Many Haydern captains have also claimed that having a 'front row seat' to the action sharpens the mind and allow crew to man the weapons with 150% more proficiency than other vessels with protected bridges. A new Haydern model  however is currently underdevelopment  with a new partially sub-contained Guppy vessel that sinks into the vessel's hull to be switched in places with the current Haydern layout as to allow more bridge protection and not block field of view if the two module were to be interchanged in positions with the current model.

Cruisers~
Ah... The Cruisers. Nothing beats these guys (except maybe the capital ships). The Cruisers are a more specialized case for multiple reasons (detailed in each ship description), but bring many exotic features to the battlefield. These vessels on their own are a force to be reckoned with and all of T.F.C.S cruiser class vessels have short warp jump module deep in each ship capable of FTL travel for fast system jumps.
Spoiler
Halcyon
By far the Alliance's oldest ship still in use today. Being in service for nearly 800 years, the Halcyon structural frame has remained largely untouched till today and that's just proof of how well it has aged. Recently outfitted with a single Discharge cannon, the Halcyon is the main bread and butter ship of the Alliance today with over 4 billion units stationed all across our home galaxy. Resilient to damage due to it's shield module , self sustaining due it's guppy and energy battery, capable of nullifying emitter by itself with a built in Lathe, as well as generous point defense coverage against particulate matter gives the Halcyon an ever present edge in field readiness than any other ship in the Alliance's arsenals. It also has very nice armoring. Now to find a way to fit a MK7 on it...

~~~
Froyd
Nothing screams more than 'carrier' slash destroyer (or should I say Aviation Battleship) than the Froyd. Only slightly younger than the Halcyon, the Froyd has retained its carrier role for its entire service time. While slightly more expensive than the Halcyon, both are usually seen in squads of 4 Halcyons and 1 Froyd in many systems today. Donned with a Guppy, an energy battery and a single fully operational fighter strip, The Froyd is a cost effective carrier vessel for those looking for a more front line carrier vessel. Oh and did I forget the four missile and cannon turrets too. Also the sweet two engines. Do note that the hull integrity of the Froyd is extremely weak and the ship itself does not last long without supporting vessels (though even a single Haydern is more than enough coverage for a Froyd).
~~~

Drandurd
A Heavy drone ship fitted with numerous point defense drones as well as a full anti particulate matter defense system on the ship itself. The Drandurd is essentially a much much more heavily armed anti particulate matter vessel, sporting 17 lasers and 4 particle beams to stop any particulate matter swarm from even moving an inch forward. Comes with a port and energy battery as standard. Two engines also allow rapid response from a ship of this caliber and size. Like most (except the Voraz) the Drandurd likes to sit right in front of the particulate swarm albeit not withing contact zone.

~~~
Stratfure
This moderately armed vessel trades in more structural armor (with a shield) to compensate for its shorter range cannon systems. Often dispatched for system protection the Stratfure is a tried and true last stand vehicle capable of accomplishing multiple tasks for a fair price by Alliance standards. The latest standard model incorporates cannon drone technology as well as complementing particle-laser drones. This ship is often redesigned to serve as a ramming ship by civilians due to the shield module. This ship is often constructed by civilians due to it's easy drone framework (and integrated module-interchange compatibility), expect most pirates to have this vessel.
Capital Vessels~
BIG and I really mean BIG. The T.F.C.S line of capital vessels pose the upmost underlying threat of even an entire brigade. Hunking down on dozens of point defenses, huge cannons, full crew establishment and the best mother-loving bar/canteen a ship can have. These vessels are not only hospitable, they are deadly and the pride of T.F.C.S entire navy.
Spoiler
The First Call
This mighty vessel's name comes from it's mighty lineage of ships that were first used in the ***Classified*** incursion and is thus very very old. It's model has changed so much that it resembles nothing of it's earlier lineage however. That said the Call is a mighty battle cruiser designed for defensive and assault tactics alike. Comes with two Dischargers and a single MK7. Cannon/Missile system , Lathe system and as usual anti particulate matter defense system. This ship must be properly managed to reduce damage to it's otherwise vulnerable nose. The First Call is often confused to be a super vessel by many folk but in truth, it still fits the standard of an extra-large Destroyer slash Cruiser. The vessel's name remains a complete mystery as to where and who named it. One thing for sure about the vessel's name is that is most assuredly derived from the ***Classified*** war in the mostly terrestrial planetary system, Diluk.
Hyperion
The largest most common super vessel of the Alliance with over 44,000 units throughout the whole home galaxy. The Hyperion is named after an ambitious rebel commander and his men who led a charge against a corrupt government and defeated them. Their effort and grossly suppressive determination still resides in the people of the Alliance today. Their mark on history still remains in the Alliance great space history museum. The ship comes with an extensive energy battery system and is one of the only vessels in the Alliance with a Reactor system (due to the reactor technology of the Alliance being horribly poor). As such the Hyperion can last for a good amount of time before needing to be refueled by a tanker vessel such as the Furious. Armed with 12 cannons, 6 missiles, 2 MK7s , 2 Dischargers, 2 Reactors, 4 Engines , a single Fighter strip/bay , 18 lasers , 6 particle beams, 1 shield module ,  and 1 port, They Hyperion is more than equipped for any difficult mission. It is notable that the Hyperion comes with it's own in-built laboratory, barracks, factory and starport for colonization missions. Being so well equipped to start an entire colony on a planet on it's own.
Hell, it's about time    - Unidentified marine upon the entry of the Hyperion during the **Classified** Incursion
M0THER
An experimental super carrier with 5 fighter strips, the M0THER was designed for long range assault on any particulate army with it's host of 10 particle resistant fighters with ample weapon systems of their own. Lightly armed for a ship of this size, The M0THER relies on a good supporting fleet to do its task and boy does she do it well if you can. Given that task is utter domination of the enemy. Comes with light matter defenses, few cannons and missile turrets, energy batteries and a port. This vessel rivals even the Hyperion in construction time.
Voraz
This is a specialist ship designed for ramming purposes. It has hardly seen action as of yet and is by far the youngest of the vessels in use by the Alliance today. Comes with 4 shield modules, 4 engines, 2 energy batteries and some light matter defense. This vessel has yet to have enter official service in the Alliance navy. The shields of this vessel are a special variation, instead of increasing hull integrity of the ships standing armored ram, the shield act as backup generators that utilize kinetic dispersion of the ships hull to generate enormous amounts of energy that can rebuild the ships hull WHILE it is under heavy fire, unfortunately the vessel will eventually run out of energy due to the shield modules requiring constant damage to the hull and thus heavy extreme energy drain results, though it should be enough to ram any mimicked vessel up to a Drandurd. This ship was classified as a capital ship mostly due to it's size as it is quite cheap for it's purpose.
Utility/Support Ships~
Not much to say about the utility class vessels. They are a vital asset for any fleet and come with their own set of weapons of their own. Unfortunately rumor has spread that the utility class vessels have crew that didn't graduate from the renowned cryogenic training of T.F.C.S. This is completely untrue as any member who fails the training can simply redo it and untrained/accomplished crew are not allowed on any of T.F.C.S vessels in the first place. T.F.C.S more than welcomes late bloomers with viable and self-respecting construction jobs over at a starport near you. Please note that any verbal abuse of any crew of any ship class of T.F.C.S is a punishable offense with a minimum penalty of $5000 Horan cred and 2 days in jail (lengthened to 5 months of starport labor if fine can not be paid).
Spoiler
Disdan
While it doesn't have as many discharger turrets as other corporation anti-stunner ships do, The Disdan is still a crucial vessel for the Alliance in times where stunner swarms prove too much for regular vessels to handle. Comes with 3 lasers, 2 particle beams, 2 dischargers, 2 engines, 1 port and 1 energy battery. Has more than usual structural armor. This vessel is not designed for stunner defense in one particular area and is best used as a firefighter vessel against stunner swarms approaching on multiple fronts due to it's twin engines. Do note that this vessel has a port and energy tank for prolonged defense.
Freeder
This ship has a long 'proboscis' that has a single laser and lathe on the very end  of the proboscis. Designed for lathing of hard to reach emitters, the Freeder is a very situational but useful ship in the Alliance arsenal. It is as old as the Voraz. Comes with 1 shield module and 1 energy battery, 3 lasers and  1 particle beam. The Freeder is the only Alliance ship to have un-armored parts of hull. The vessel has an experimental shield module allows it to rapidly repair the proboscis if it get's damaged in trade for the usual damage resistance most shield from other corporations provide.
~~~

Byrax
This heavy fully loaded out module amalgamation of a ship is surprisingly useful on the field. Each of the Byrax modules is separated from the core Captain's Bridge on tesla-kinetic connected platforms that can change positions in an orbit around the bridge, a feature that is exclusive to the Byrax. Comes with 2 Lathes, 1 port , 1 energy battery, 1 guppy , 1 grabber and 2 engines. The only defenses on the Byrax are the two cannon platforms ahead of the ship and two lasers on the engine platforms. The Byrax is infamously named after a head scientist from H.T.D.C that discovered Dronal Markets, a system wide investment that greatly increases industry on all colonized planets of the invested system.

Cravix
The Cravix is the successful redesigning of the now expeditionary class vessel Evraxus. Sacrificing many weapons system in trade for a  revamped maglev armor scheme, The Cravix depends on it's undertow shield module and extensive armor to destroy enemy ships, making it the new apporpriate ramming vessel. The vessel successful revamp has sacrificed many of the guppies and energy storage modules of the Evraxus to a more reasonable state. For it's main refueling off-node purpose however the vessel must be safeguarded as it's port is a platform protected by only one level of maglev armor., making it very susceptible. The vessel comes equipped with 3 energy storage tanks and a single guppy along with some meager anti-particulate defenses.

Expeditionary vessels~
T.F.C.S Expeditionary vessels are currently a very new class to T.F.C.S. It has only been very recent that The H.G.R.A have ventured out into redacted space and many vessels for this class are still heavily under development. That said, expect vessels in this category to be more self-sustaining than usual. A notable piece that's been classified under this new class that's actually a particularly old vessel is the Evraxus.
Spoiler
Evraxus
Evraxus is technically a utility class vessel and was initially designed as one. However it was hardly ever needed due to the excessive amounts of energy mines in Horan space. It's role skyrocketed during the expeditionary courses towards redacted space however. Following it's rather sudden need in redacted space, T.F.C.S and H.T.D.C have co-operated to weaponize the vessel. Now the Evraxus is considered a capital ship due to it's prohibitively expensive cost and building time. That said the vessel has evolved past it's initially singular tasks and T.F.C.S has opted for many secondary producers for the production of Evraxus (I wonder why....we have over 20 million starports capable of constructing the vessel in T.F.C.S territory). Nevertheless Evraxus has seen plenty of battles and it can still dutifully and effectively provide energy to vessels far from an energy node. The Evraxus comes fitted with it's own light drone system (courtesy of H.T.D.C) , a modified Mark7 tri-cannon and 4 rocket turrets. The vessel does come with a shield module for intense firefights, and is currently the only standard issue T.F.C.S utility vessel with this class of weapons mass. For it's off-node purpose it  comes equipped with 5 guppies and 4 energy tanks as well as all-important port. The vessel is reasonably nimble with it's three engines  and does come with it's own FTL module (it's an expeditionary vessel anyways). It is worth noting that the somewhat excessive amount of 5 guppies is often traded out for 1 or more disruptors. Currently another vessel is being developed for more conventional off-port usage. These factors have insured the vessel to a zero destruction roll on it's rather dangerous mission to explore the unexplored, redacted space.

Haiman Technological Department of Combat

Otherwise Known as H.T.D.C, The Haiman Technological Department of Combat controls most of the southernmost zone of Horan, formed in year:2348. Originally the zone was called Tarturas but has since been dubbed X-5567 (bunch of nerds...). As couch-infused as the great wanderers of planet Hiton, the scientists of H.T.D.C have nevertheless been a great asset in drone technology as well as being responsible for the Kinetic-electrical Weapons platforms. Many of their vessels are manned by Ai subroutines and substrates which do not require oxygen or food to survive (instead only electricity and some weird bio-particulate dinner(guess that's their food actually  ???). These substrates and AIs have thus significantly reduced the crew costs of many of H.T.D.C vessels by a sizable amount (how does 20 Horan Cred per day sound like as maintenance fees,yeah thats abysmally cheap). Recently they've opted to 'present' and sell their designs on the market. Though many question the tests they undergo on planet 5667. Either way they get results and are a valuable asset nevertheless. Do note that H.T.D.C will offer far more specialization than T.F.C.S due to cost restraints for ship production that can never compare to that of T.F.C.S. Also don't expect any signature FTL drives for H.T.D.C vessels either.

Fighters~
H.T.D.C fighters are quite surely a questionable bunch, but despite their rather horrifying looks (and names), H.T.D.C continues to improve and reveal rather surprising(and effective) assets to their specialized fleet.
Spoiler
X-299
X-299 was the first ship by H.T.D.C and to this day has the award for most confusing vessel of 2*** . Reason is due to the vessels segregated hull and thus it's astonishing fragility. Despite that The X-299 is an extremely maneuverable whilst amply armed with only two cannons fighter vessel. The vessel pictured here has endured more than 256 successful raid on the particulate swarm and scouting reports on other corporations.

Destroyer(s)~
T.F.C.S has always been confused about the Destroyer class, simply because they're currently arguing whether the vessel called The First Call should belong in it's own category or as a capital ship :P. H.T.D.C doesn't care though and have put the renowned Zarves under this new category.
Spoiler
Zavres
The Zarves is a heavy gunship heavily built on the emphasis on destroying other ships (specifically mimicked ships and dopplers). It is impossibly weak to masses of particulate due to it's slow firing cannons and one laser. Technically the vessel is considered incomplete by T.F.C.S standards but H.T.D.C doesn't really care as they have permission to develop any ship to their liking and rules. Either way The Zavres is more than capable for it's specialized task. The Zavres is infact a fully automated drone harboruing a fearsome MK7 and complementary cannon battery. The exposed nature of the energy tank must be kept aware of however, something the AI substrates have been programmed to protect dearly during combat.

These are some good designs.

If you want to attach images like the way others do, you need to BBcode the link. Or whatever the technical term is.

Upload it to a image hosting website (Imageshack, imgur, and even dropbox will work)
Right click the image and click "Copy image address"

http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=22418.0;attach=23705;image

Click the "Insert image" Button (Right under the bold button) and paste the image in between the BBC
Click preview to get a look, and it should show up.

If you use dropbox (like I did) you kinda have to do something else.

Have the image in a dropbox folder, right click on the image, then click "Copy dropbox link"
Should look somwhat like this(Im using my Tertiary Corvette for this, the link would look a bit diff but kinda same.): https://www.dropbox.com/s/ud4yk9hy8ue5ae0/Tertiary%20Corvette.PNG?dl=0

This doesnt work all by itself, should you BBcode it.

You have to remove "dl=0" at the end and replace it with "raw=1"

Greetings, Comm General Warfield. Fleet Zero and its alliance The Union are interested in your ships. Most of our corporations were born from necessity for anti-particulate expertise. And elder corporation could greatly improve our chance of sucess. We will await a request to join The Union, and hope you will send one posthaste.

I see that there's a corporation add-on for the game. I don't have a key though... (sorry pretty new to the game, I did spend a long time designing the ships here though under conditions from the silumcraium, in fact I haven't progressed that far in the first campaign even.......heh

I've realized there's a large collection of corporations called the Union. Is there still room for an additional member? Also is there a post dedicated to it?

Yes, there is always room for more corporations to join our cause! The Union thread is here.
