Sweet! This could open a whole new level of geekyness! Living in provincial New Zealand, I’m probably the only person within a hundred miles that gets the significance of my wife’s ‘Fruity Oaty Bar’ T-Shirt – you get ten points if you know it!

Now just imagine how obscure/niche a Creeper World T would be down here!

At the risk of going off-topic:

If it’s not confidential, I’d be interested to know what the sales of CW2 have been like, to gauge the size of the community and the likely pool of user-maps when they come on line – and what parts of the world those users hail from.

I note that the daily mission high score tables are not exactly overflowing, but that could just be because people have BILLIONS of missions to choose from!

I use Jerzees shirts, and a Large is a chest of 42-44 inches.

I know when I sell shirts at shows people tend to underestimate shirt sizes. People ask for Small or Medium but when they see the Large take that. People who ask for Large end up getting XL. If someone isn’t sure about Large or XL I encourage them to take XL, especially since they are the same price.

    Hope that helps.

    No color?!?!…
dose not do you’r product justice… well, i could dye it…
Any chance of expansion- like colors, or mugs? personally, i’d love a Frisbee.

    It’s only one shirt?
Im thinking about buying it 😀
    But i dont know
Looking very sweet, not very expensive.
I would very like a possibility to “build” our own shirts.
So we can choose from some phrases and images, maybe instead of the Nexus/emitter that Creeper World planet,
I dont know what people think if i wear a shirt saying “YOU WILL BE UNDONE”. xD

No, YOU will be Undone! And again, a possible expansion/colour addition to the shirt could get you a lot of money.

You wouldn’t believe the amount of back and forth that went into just settling on THIS design (check out the forum discussion on it), but there are plans to release more shirts based on how this one does. I think the one for CW2 will have more color to it.

Link, you should have seen the comments from people not comfortable with a shirt that said Creep or Creeper on it. 🙂

    i think
    1. the upgrades for weapons should be 5 instead of 3
    2. the dark beam should have 3 levels, easy, medium, and heavy, easy will attack low creeper but not dense if its dense it will PUSH the beam back. same with medium. exept it can beat like medium creeper. if its heavy it will destroy ANYTHING.
    3. the lib. ship should have turrets for itself but it should be upgrade and there should be like range for the turret, speed for the lib. ship and fire rate for the turret plz respond

      I think
this is something that belongs in the forms. What you’r talking about has nothing to do with the release of the t-shirts… this would go under CW2-suggestions. here is a link: http://knucklecracker.com/forums/ If you don’t have an account, i would recommend you make one; lots of similar stuff is talked about there. I think you would like it. But this section is supposed to be about the shirt release…
      About your ideas:

-1- I thought about the Lib Ship having a weapon too. But as cool as it would be, it changes the game too much. Part of the challenge is not having anything in the beginning, except the means to build. Having an armed lib ship also makes it less vulnerable- making the game too easy. Why defend your LS when it defends itself?

-2- i don’t know much about the dark beam, but i think it was meant to be just the way it is to balance it’s power.

-3- 5 on weapons upgrades would be cool. I don’t know if it is possible for range/fire rate though.. it might have complications in programming.. and the graphic demand might be too laggy. Wouldn’t it suck if you got massive Tech and upgraded rate of fire to 5; only to have it lagg so much that everything fired slower? But movement speed.. I’v seen some fast moving drones.. why can’t the units move that fast? I think 5 upgrades for speed might be possible, and would not drastically change the game.(but only V would know, i’m just blablin)

      So Back to the shirts…….

I just noticed it was for CW1!!! so there is going to be more shirts for CW2!?!?!

okok ive done missions that the creeper starts off like b4 i can even do anything (like some code missions) so the turrets on the lib ship should have VERY LOW range

the dark beam easy mode takes less ammo medium is medium ammo and heavy take like right now type ammo.

yes the 5 upgrades would increase lag but the speed and range should be 5 though. plz respond

        1. Dylan
          Dylan June 26, 2011 at 9:59 am |

And the lib ship turrets shouldnt hold creeper back for long just till we are able to make blasters or other wapons

That is the plan, yes. I have graphics for CW2 to make a shirt and in the process of designing it. I just don’t like to release two shirts at once. If things go well the next shirt will be released shortly while CW2 is still fresh.

If I’m really lucky I can coincide it with the release of the map editor…

I have a good idea virgilw
Now in the game is a wall that is destroyed by the evil creeper (after some time).
If you add walls that can be destroyed ONLY by a good creeper this opens the way for new scenarios in the game.
    For example:
Mission with no good creeper and ore.
1.Use (for storage) Repulsor to control bad creeper.
2.Use bombs to convert to good creeper.
3.Creeper collect and use to destroy the wall.

Bad creeper you can collect without destroying emiter.
Use the emitter to create a good creeper.

    Sorry for my english.

These posts have nothing to do with t shirts pit them on the forum or a related blog and i think t shirt editor would be a good idea too. its to creepy to have “You will be undone” on my t shirt.

I HAVE AN EXELENT IDEA!!!!. Ok you know how Emitter give bad creeper, right? We should have our own Emitters. They will cost 200 or 300 enrgy and will take alot of ammo packets, but it won’t need ore!

    1. Jay
      Jay June 26, 2011 at 8:53 pm |

      Hmm…Good idea.
-Although, 200 energy? A dark beam only costs 100.
-what if it takes a small amount of energy, around 20, and then, you charge it with ore, say, 1000. Then, the emitter is able to produce infinitly, and you can make it produce at a higher rate by charging it with more ore.

@Player -What about terrain decayed by anti creeper?

  16. Dylan
    Dylan June 26, 2011 at 9:45 am |

Ok I have one thats the best. Dark Beam destroy anything in their path (exept dark mirrors), right? On the micro lifts there should be
    1. Like diffrent channels so we dont need that many dark mirrors (it would exit the rift going the same way)
    or
    2. There should be Micro-Dark Passages that ONLY DARK BEAM GO THROUGH.

      Jay June 26, 2011 at 8:55 pm |

That wouldn’t work. The challenge is to provide enough energy, while at the same time, having enough space to manuever your mirrors & conversion bombs + conventional weapons.

        Dylan July 2, 2011 at 8:54 am |

        so what are you saying?

        1. Jay
          Jay July 21, 2011 at 3:26 pm |

@Dylan – Dark beams are SUPPOSED to take up space. you need to ‘dig smart’ and make enough space (or M-rifts) to move stuff around.
@Everyone Else – Sorry for not posting in the forums, but it’s here, so I figured I’d just respond.
