Eighth tab of the editor

Save/Load

Saving and loading

You can load and save your map here. The buttons at the top will save and load to the primary slot, this is the map you will end up with when you finalize it. At the bottom, you have a few extra slots to help in testing.

Only hit the save button when the map is in a ready to be played state. If you have been testing it, and there's creeper/drones/particles everywhere, don't save. Before testing, save your map, then load it when you have finished testing. Nevertheless, if you have saved over your map with no way to recover through extra slots, there are buttons to help with clearing creeper/particulate in the first tab of the editor, the rest will have to be cleaned manually.

Once your map is ready to go, you can press Finalize. After that, hit Escape and Exit the mission. Next to your editor project, you will now see a Post Score button.

Pressing the green play button will begin a playthrough of the now final version of your map. To upload the map, you must finish it.

If you realize you need to make changes after finalizing the map, you have to go back to the editor project, make the changes and hit Finalize again. This will reset your finalized map. If you had been playing the map so that you can upload it, re-finalizing will clear all saves inside, so you will have to start your playthrough over.
