Freeze Cannon

The Kelvin Freeze Cannon is a ship part that is capable of freezing the creeper in its tracks; preventing creeper from flowing on affected tiles.

Unit Stats

Each shot from a Kelvin Freeze Cannon costs 0.1 energy and stops all creeper flow on all tiles within a radius of 4 (total 49 tiles) for 32 frames (1.06 seconds).

Unit Usage

The Kelvin Freeze Cannon excels against deep creeper and narrow passageways. Slowing down creeper flow lets more creeper build up on each individual tile, allowing your other weapons to do more effective damage.

One of the most powerful uses of a Freeze Cannon is the weapons ability to indefinitely hold even the densest creeper at a narrow chokepoint. If a Freeze Cannon is shooting at a narrow 1) chokepoint, the creeper will not be able to flow through that chokepoint, allowing you to indefinitely hold against even the densest creeper. This pairs extremely well with Rockets to do insane damage to the blocked off creeper.
