+The laser is optimized to damage [[cw4:info:spore_tower|Spores]] and nothing else in order to achieve the fractal laser split and not be completely useless. Although the Fractal Laser can target any enemy unit in its firing angle, the damage is pathetic. If it wasn't optimized to damage [[cw4:info:spore_tower|Spores]], it would hardly damage them like any other unit and the laser will still deal pathetic damage. Last we checked though, [[cw4:info:spore_tower|Spores]] are usually in large numbers by the dozen.
