Pylons form long-range, high-speed network connections that carry packets between each other, the Rift Lab and Micro-Rifts. Use them to reach remote areas and to improve the delivery rate to front-line weapons.

Pylon connections have a distinct yellow color. Packets traveling along such connections move twice as fast, and such connections are considered to be shorter than they actually are for the purposes of calculating tower efficiency loss.

Pylons can be placed 22 units away from each other. ERNing a pylon will double this connection range.
