Creeper++

Creeper++ is a set of optional mission parameters that adds time based scaling to some map elements. The Creeper++ UI can be found at the top middle of the screen if it is enabled and has the following effects:

  • Emitter payload is multiplied by the Creeper++ level.
  • Breeder terrain rate and max is multiplied by the Creeper++ level. This effect does not apply to breeder terrains creating anticreeper.
  • Creeper cutoff is multiplied by the Creeper++ level.
  • Void height is divided by the Creeper++ level.

Creeper++ adds time based scaling to creeper threats; note that because this is time scaled players often want to move quickly and try to win before creeper production becomes unstoppable.

In order to enable Creeper++, the map creator must change Creeper++ Time from 0 to a different value that indicates the interval between Emitter strength increases (Screenshot 2). After the initial delay elapses, indicated by the Creeper++ Grace setting, Creeper++ will start.

Creeper++ always starts at 1x, and each strength increase increments the multiplier by 1. The maximum multiplier Emitters will reach is indicated by the Creeper++ Max setting.

Lastly, the Creeper++ Null Off setting can be set, which indicates the Creeper++ multiplier that must be reached for the player's Nullifiers to permanently stop working. Any currently existing Nullifiers will immediately explode, and any attempts to build more will also result in an immediate explosion. This can be useful for missions that require completion of the Hold objective, to prevent the player from managing to Nullify every Emitter in the level, and then just waiting out the timer.
