Breeder is a special type of terrain that multiplies Creeper or Anti-Creeper that flows on it. Creeper Breeder (blue) multiplies Creeper. AC Breeder (white) multiplies Anti-Creeper. Flip Breeder (yellow) multiplies both.

Note: Stashes, breeder terrain¹⁾, and emitters turn “off” when the Creeper Cutoff limit is reached. The Creeper cutoff level is displayed on the map as part of the information pane on the lower left of the User Interface.

The blue and white bars (pointed at by the red and green arrows respectively) show overview information for the terrain the cursor is pointed at. The relative width of the colored portion of the bar is the active cycle time, the number (6, in this instance) is the rate at which the terrain will increase the specified type of creeper.

The cycle time, duration, rate and cut-off values for breeder terrain can be specified or inspected in the map editor.
