Fighter Drone - Vertu

The Fighter Drone is an extremely simple and expendable assault unit designed in particular to combat the Creeper, being the first proper assault unit that can directly damage Creeper structures like the Emitter and Spore Launcher though the direct damage is minor.
The Fighter Drone was constructed to stimulate the VWC project by providing additional threats against the C.V-S during its mission engagements.
Fighter Drones can be fabricated by a Fighter Drone Bay for cheap costs and are often deployed in mass or in other words, the bay stores 5 Fighter Drones and then releases them all at once rather than releasing them as they complete though this can be controlled ERROR:VPAC_ONLY_SETTING EXCEPTION - TEXT EXCLUSION.

- Extremely cheap, requiring only 20 Liftic to construct. ERROR:VPAC_ONLY_SETTING EXCEPTION - TEXT EXCLUSION
- Very efficient in performance.
- Very simple AI (cliff slamming can be expected).
- Extremely good skirmish unit.
- Great sustain damage against Creeper.
- Decent but low damage against enemy units like Emitters.
- Uses no ammo to fire or fly.
- Great in swarms!
- Destroyed very efficiently by Lancers.
- If stunned, the Fighter Drone will conduct a controlled self destruct to prevent the possibility of an Electrical Overload Explosion.
