They usually said something about having to bypass something to actually damage the Creeper structures yet we never encountered this issue. We don't know what it is, why it doesn't affect only our weapons, and why everyone else didn't consider bullet and THEN figured out the whole “something makes the Emitter invulnerable”. All we know, is that when we shot a Creeper structure, it turned into rubble. Just like any other construct.”
