Installing the CW2 Map Editor

The following steps will install the Creeper World 2 map editor.

Do NOT download any of these items from any other site. The risk of infected downloads are high.

  1. Download the AIR runtime from the Harman site.
    • Take note of the “known issues” listed on that page. The Certificate issue will come up when you attempt to install the CW2 map editor.
  2. Install the AIR runtime for your platform (Windows or MacOS by double-clicking on the downloaded file.
  3. Download the CW2 Map editor.
  4. Install the CW2 Map editor by double-clicking on the downloaded file.
    • Again, note that the install will warn about the issues as above

The map editor should now be installed and you can start making maps for CW2. Be advised that the old approvals process is still in place and it may take up to 24 hours for a map to be approved. If your map is not approved after 24 hours, please email: <support [at] knucklecracker [dot] com>
