The Rocket Launcher is one of the best fire support weapons out there. Using ARG payload missiles has obvious benefits to simple projectiles and blasters. - It is explosive based, giving it a high damage radius. - The munition can be placed as a payload, allowing it to be used in rockets which use "fuel" and maneuverability to vastly increase this unit's range. - It strictly uses ARG for combat munition rather than energy. This can be extremely useful in energy tight situations and ARG is rather abundant as a resource, suppressing the need for ARG fabrication and thus, this unit is energy free. ===== Overview ===== * A Rocket Launcher weaponizing ARG for long-range, depth-seeking Creeper destruction. * Very long ranged. * High damage per rocket. * Semi-guided rockets. * Damages mesh (0.35 per rocket). * Moderate reload time. * 7.5 ARG per rocket (non-ERN'ed). * Independently fires and reloads 2 rockets. * Rockets can be shot down by [[cw4:cmod:docs:4d9edae8-aac2-43c7-863c-2c6667509497|Lancers]]. * Can dock an [[cw4:info:ern_crystal|ERN]]. * Benefits from all [[cw4:info:ern_portal|ERN Port]] upgrades. * Benefits from being on elevated terrain (moderate range increase just like the Mortar) * Quite ammo hungry. **{VPAC SETTING_CONTEXT}** Rift Lab users have grown fond of making these launchers in mass among their fortresses. Though they have done so to the point they over use them, making fortresses not massively abundant with ARG a joke against the C.V-S, hence why you typically always face against fortifications swimming in ARG and with lots of Rocket Launchers.
