Although the Fractal Laser can target any enemy unit in its firing angle, the damage is pathetic. If it wasn't optimized to damage [[cw4:info:spore_tower|Spores]], it would hardly damage them like any other unit and the laser will still deal pathetic damage. Last we checked though, [[cw4:info:spore_tower|Spores]] are usually in large numbers by the dozen.
