The definition of "further away" in this case is based on how far away the Tower is on the network, rather than distance on a straight line. Reducing network path length by adding Pylons or Micro Rifts to the network can improve the yield of far-off Towers. The efficiency of a given tower is displayed in its unit menu. An 100% efficiency tower is roughly 2.66 times more efficient than an (un-ERNed) 100% efficiency miner in energy produced per cost (0.333334 energy/sec for 5 energy, or 1 energy/sec for 40 energy). |
