So it's been forever since I've actively participated in discussion around here, but since IXE dropped I've once more had the urge to bring this up again.

What are the odds of ever seeing Creeper world hit VR? I feel like it would be absolutely amazing to be put in the position of the power suit like the stage in IXE and do smaller scale style of the game.

Hell even larger scale CW4 maps with the player doing normal gameplay but without the bird's eye view all the time and being down in the action and having to maneuver around the maps on foot would be amazing.

The likelihood is proportional to the penetration of VR gear in the market that Knuckle Cracker aims for.  Current estimate of VR penetration in gaming is around 5-10%.  Even so, the market is fragmented in terms of hardware dependencies. As such I think you're advocating for a lost cause.

VR is also more suited for First- or single-player games, where the player interacts with the game as a single entity. As such, interacting with multiple units would present significant challenges in designing and implementing an interface and for the player to move and control multiple instances of units over a large area.  Another reason why there is a significant likelihood that the answer to your question is nearer to "never" than to "someday".
