The LR-545 Light Cruiser manufactured by the United Engineering Coalition was intended to be a jack-of-all-trades ship. Equipped with an advanced nav computer, zero-waste impulse engnies, and a healthy battery of 16 cannon, supplimented by its point defence laser array, the LR-545 is essentially a very small, very mobile station. The Leighton's captain has retrofitted the cruiser to more effectively combat the emergent threat. Larger reactors and a mire scrubber to even it all out.
