my first time though this, I eventually lost patience & ignored the instructions and built things.  months later I went back and decided to let it just go and watch.  there was a mesmerizing quality to it and I couldn't decide if AC would eventually win or if the flow restriction of the weir would lead to an equilibrium.  I didn't build anything this time but quit after 3-4 hours game time.   does teh AC win out eventually?  I was very tempted to build a terp and cut a notch in the wall
