I think this is a fantastic map! There's a significant threat, but it's not likely to kill anyone except perhaps a very inexperienced player. There's PLENTY of power capability - from the power pack you can siphon to the low-cost collectors & reactors... if you run out of power in this map then you should probably wait until you've at least finished 4th grade before trying this map again.

Power-zones are all over the place, as are totems and AC. The two emitters on the top have such a long delay that you can pop them without any difficulty and use the PZ's for something useful (I used them for beams, just because it's fun).

I'm not used to Hypnotic making relaxing maps, and this is probably as close as he gets to an easy map. I found it quite fun to play real-time all the way through, and I was actually a bit sad that it had to end.

Yep.
Easy enough, yet interesting to play.
You can't quite relax, as the creeper can build up a nasty tidal flood if you get complacent.
But the abundant PZ and ore and cheap buildings make you very powerful.

Good work on the spacing, too. You can never *quite* kill one emitter just by building a neutralizer on its predecessor.

I did, and left an appropriate comment. Well, an appropriate comment might have been more like, "WHY? Why oh why did you take away our little friend and replace him with an emitter as effective as VR Goggles for Hellen Keller... or any person who isn't alive, for that matter?"

But yeah, I did that map. Not as fun as this one, imo - but definitely more challenging.

True, although I describe a map as "relaxing" if I can start it and run it at full speed without having to think too hard, pause, or save. A map that violates any of those three parameters is kicked off the relaxing list. But yeah, if you don't build smartly you will perish swiftly.
