I don't understand what the fields do, it doesn't seem to have much impact on gameplay that I notice.

I don't understand what the fields do, it doesn't seem to have much impact on gameplay that I notice.

Fields can be pretty treacherous when there are large amounts of Creeper to be pushed over your units and network.
I don't recall playing this one, so will now have to give it a go.
