This is a moderate to hard difficulty map (this is the harder version of "The Creep River"). It may appear very easy at first, but it is extremely expensive to build collectors and reactors on this map. You will need them, but build wisely. Note that the biggest difference between this harder version and the original version is that there is far more creep to the north, so you have less time to prepare for it. #Spore #Pump #Heavy-Creep #Runner #Flip-Emitter GOOD LUCK!!

It is possible to drop on the top right section of the map, disable ammo, build a relay, snag the Thor, then return to orbit.

Then redeploy on the left side, build four guppys and destroy the two central spore towers, then build 2 beams on the power zone (to protect the aether siphon supply.) Then send your command node with 4 guppys to the right side to destroy the two central spore towers, build two beams for defense, and start building a forge before the first wave of spores show up, plus you have a Thor blueprint to build as well.

At least that was my strategy to get the Thor, all the blueprints on the left side, and get the power generation of the right side.

Doing this loses you the chance to snag most of the flip-emitters though, which means you'll be facing a greater flow of creeper the whole time.

Yes indeed, you can't get the Terp at the beginning, but you can get the Thor.  But the Thor is very expensive to build before you have build many more reactors on PZs, so you probably wouldn't want to start building any Thors until a bit further into the game :)  What I really like about this one is there are quite a few successful strategies you can use - all with trade offs.  My strategies were more aligned with kingreaper, where I got AC to the flip emitters ASAP so that I could buy more time until I got flooded by creep from the north.

Ok, quite a tough scenario, unless you do the start very very carefully.

I snatched the left fort's units, killed the 4 spore towers (but not the 4 AC spores!),
then hightailed it to the east while abandoning the west fort.
Grabbed some mines ASAP.
Soon as I had the floorspace, I build a set of guppys and started feeding the Blues and Aether in the top-right.
This gives tech (energy!!!) and pretty soon allows conquest of the top-right corner.

1h12, but I think i could have done it in about 1h05 if not for some silly mistakes.

No clue how those guys with sub-40m times managed it though.

Yup, I really like the design of this map. I just did the same thing I did in the previous one - grabbed the left side blueprints, built the siphon and orbited then popped on the right side to build stuff. Didn't really feel threatened at any time nor feel the urge to save or pause, but I like that progress isn't super-easy.

I'm a big fan of the big flip emitters. Thanks for including them!  ;D ;D
You disagree with this sentence, don't you?
