Really nice map, fun challenge at the start, took me a few goes before I worked it out.

The concept is very clever. I liked it. This could have been a 10/10 map.

Unfortunately, there are several flaws in the implementation that made the map minimally challenging and made the intended walkthrough irrelevant:
1) if this map is a puzzle, why did you tell the solution right at the beginning?
2) the energy and aether packs can be exploited without having the walls destroyed, and the amounts are virtually unlimited
3) aether is sufficient for several singularity shots which makes the map extremely easy (you can nullify the inhibitor quickly), and you can completely ignore what happens on the West
The only thing that you have to keep in mind (and that requires some time) is to let some minimal creeper flow to the shield key walls in order to collect them.

There's no singularity weapon here.

The map is easy enough except I see no way to win--despite quite a bit of trying I never managed to get the spores to hit the blocks holding the keys--and without that you can't collect the keys.

?

But I beat the map with it :)

EDIT: you have to supply at least one totem in order to be able to use it. This is true for every map. The best way here is to send a guppy there.

And the spores are not the best way to free those keys. Simply let the Creeper break the big wall (terraform the terrain around your base beforehand, but leave a small 'corridor' that will let the Creeper reach the keys).
