Desc:
Fortune smiled upon us today, as we have uncovered one of the most important energy fields that the humans use. If we can gain a foothold on this important planet, it should be easy to take thanks to the abundant power zones. Deprive the humans of their precious energy mines, and take this planet for the Loki hive. #PlayAsCreeper

You guys said you liked berthas, right?  ;D ;D ;D

I was definitely a bit worried when I saw that statement! :)
Omnipotence doesn't mean the ability to do what is logically impossible. It's possible, therefore, for God to create beings with the kind of free will that can choose between good and evil, but he can't also force those creatures to choose good. If he forced their choice, it wouldn't be free.

Tricky to survive the start but then you have so much firepower that it's a cakewalk.

Once the forge is down, the pace is much less frenetic.

Oh, I love them (when they're my weapons :D). It's tempting to let them build, just to see what happens! I expect it'd be one heck of a wrong move from my point of view.

Thanks again for a fun map, Stdout. Just a note: on your more recent maps, sometimes my spore-targeting reticle doesn't disappear when I change abilities (eg from spore targeting to digitalis brush, I keep the reticle and the brush). It doesn't affect my fun or game-play, but I wondered if anyone else had noticed it.

I have also noticed that too, Linden. I don't know what causes it but I'm betting it is a bug in the PAC code.

Ah okay - like I said, it doesn't affect play, but it's reassuring to know it's not just on my side. :) Thanks.

Thanks for ending the PAC drought with these three recent maps! All fun and stimulating - I'm too impatient for the ultra-micro-management of flow fields and there's nothing like a great big creeper flood to end a level (something I sorely miss whenever I revert to playing the human side)

Cut the power to the weapons in your start area.

There is a trick to the spore towers that makes it possible to keep all of the ones from the beginning and hurt the energy production.  When you select them, make them target themselves.  This allows them to hit the ground where they are without giving the beams to take them out.  By doing this, you'll be able to keep the nullifiers from destroying them and will even take out the PZ reactors near them.  I supported the emitter in the upper right to grow digitalis quickly before the other emitters were nullified.  That ultimately made it pretty easy to take out the berthas before they were built.

i'm having a terrible time getting started. I've saved all my spore towers and the upper right emitter. and I've destroyed the thors. but i can only spare 2 spore towers to attack and i can't build up any creeper. any tips?

Use those 4 spore towers in the upper right to take out relays around the weapons at the top.  You'll quickly cause them to run out of energy allowing your creeper to spread.  Then just use the digitalis tool to increase your area and you'll be able to start adding in more emitters as well as take out all of the berthas.  At that point, just keep growing outward.  The key on this map is really about getting rid of the energy to the weapons.
