'Creating a custom emitter' completion

I noticed the tutorial page about Creating a custom emitter is still incomplete.
I was wondering if people are still interested in the completion of this page.
If enough people are interested (or well, doesn't have to be), I suggest the community posts suggestions on what should be added. This would include: pieces of text and code/(possible) extra headers)/editing current headers.

Since users need extra rights to edit that page and you can't post comments there either I made this topic.

You should now be able to contribute to the wiki directly. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I thought all users already had access to contribute. That has now been rectified. If you still have problems after you log in and out of the wiki, please let me know.
