I just landed one CN in the top right, took out the spore and then slowly worked south.

I put a canon on a PZ and set it to attack digitalis and had my mouse over creeper. whenever a bug approached I switched to creeper and then back to digitalis until the big passed. Still popped a few but it was controllable.
