Very nice map I enjoyed it, Nice touch with the crystals, use them If you need them but reduces score.

Helper

This is much more enjoyable to play. Fun, functional, and lots of options for how you want to play it.
Nicely done.

Not really like my map, i can see where it resembles, like the LB location and the beginning, few others places. But I really liked it. Great map, glad i inspired a map. :)

Edit: Now that i looked at the entire overview of the map, i see that it looks exactly like mine, except for fields, strength of things, path size increased, but it is my map now that i look at it. Thanks for a great map! :)
All of my maps take a few things:
1. Patience.
2. Saving often/trying different things every time.
3. Knowing that the simple is always wrong.
4. Love for your great Angel who spends hours and possibly days on maps that people hate. :D

I almost laughed when I noticed that Angel redid his own map the same week that I redid it. I usually download about 100 maps at once and I only noticed it AFTER my version was posted.

My Version #2099, http://knucklecracker.com/creeperworld2/viewmaps.php?mapid=2099

I was just making a proof of concept about how just a few changes can make a map a huge success or a miserable failure. I like Angel's maps because they are hard (sometimes evil) but I can see how most players would not appreciate that challenge.

The original map had:

1. Black Creeper/Anti-Creeper/Background. WAY too hard for most newbies to handle.
2. Corridors that are too narrow and unforgiving of mistakes.
3. Limited Energy from only one build direction.
4. Tedious and repetitive right side (at the end).

Ironically, Angel's new version addressed 1,3, and 4, and is vastly more popular. With the extra energy, and visible Creeper I was even able to clear out the top and start the lower right side at the same time (saving 6 minutes off the top score).

The one thing I really loved about the original was the 'cheat Gems'. A player can play it once for score, then use the cheat gems to play the map for fun/best time. It's two maps for the price of one. Also new/young/inexperienced/casual players can use those gems to make the map easier.

To Angel:
Keep up the insane hard maps. :) But I also, think using score lowering Cheat Gems might be one solution to your unpopular maps. (And not putting things in your maps that one has to open the editor to figure out.)

P.S. Note the scores for all three maps :P

You know bongo, that is actually a very good idea! Thanks man :)

Don't make a slog just because. Be like Master Mapmaker SPIFFEN:

(...)Difficulty is subjective. (...)
SPIFFEN chooses to rate each map as trivial because they believe that the difficulty of the map depends on the capability of the player.
BAD RATING: MEASUREMENT OF MAP HARDNESS.

oOga OoGa to you too.

This map was interesting. I played it a few times trying to get the high score but the right side of the map gave me some trouble.

I recorded my last play through. This may help some people improve their score.

I wonder how many people can get their times below 20 minutes.
